Russian, Indian leaders stress need to fight terrorism
Association for Defending Victims of Terrorism - According to the Kremlin, Putin and the Indian Prime Minister emphasized in a phone call the need to relentlessly fight terrorism in all its manifestations. The leaders of India and Russia also emphasized the strategic nature of bilateral relations as a privileged partnership.

According to ISNA, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said on May 15, Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi, in a phone call with Russian President Vladimir Putin, emphasized the invitation for him to visit New Delhi, and now this invitation has been accepted.
Earlier today, the Indian Ministry of External Affairs announced that Modi conveyed his congratulations to Putin on the 80th anniversary of the Soviet victory over Nazi Germany and invited him to visit New Delhi for the annual summit to be held in India in 2025.
“The Indian Prime Minister reiterated his invitation to Putin, and this invitation was accepted with open arms,” Dmitry Peskov told reporters, according to RIA Novosti.
The Kremlin said in a statement about the phone call that the two sides also noted the strategic nature of Russia-India relations as a special partnership, as well as the need for an uncompromising fight against terrorism in all its manifestations.
