Terrorist attack on school bus in Pakistan
Association for Defending Victims of Terrorism - At least four students were killed and 38 others were injured in a bomb blast on a school bus in the Pakistani province of Balochistan, which the country's police have declared a terrorist attack.

According to the police, four young students lost their lives and 38 others were injured in this terrorist act.
Members of the UN Security Council also strongly condemned the terrorist attack on a school bus in the Pakistani province of Balochistan, which left several dead and injured, and stressed the need to hold the perpetrators of this attack accountable and prosecute them.
Members of the Security Council condemned in the strongest terms the heinous and cowardly terrorist attack on a school bus in the Khuzdar area of Balochistan, Pakistan, on Wednesday, May 11. The terrorist act resulted in the loss of at least six Pakistani nationals, including four students, and 53 injuries, 39 of whom were children.
The members of the Security Council reaffirmed that terrorism in all its forms and manifestations constitutes one of the most serious threats to international peace and security.
They stressed the need to hold accountable and prosecute the perpetrators, organizers, financiers and sponsors of these terrorist acts. The UN Security Council called on all States to cooperate actively with the Government of Pakistan in this regard, in accordance with their obligations under international law and relevant Security Council resolutions. The members of the Security Council emphasized that any act of terrorism, regardless of its motivation, is criminal and unjustifiable, wherever committed, at any time and by whomsoever.
They stressed the need for all States to combat threats to international peace and security arising from terrorist acts by all means, in accordance with the Charter of the United Nations and other obligations under international law, including international human rights law, international refugee law and international humanitarian law.
