Minister of Science: Iran officially complains in international forums against scientific terrorism
Association for Defending Victims of Terrorism - Minister of Science, Research and Technology said: Iran's diplomatic and legal measures to pursue the assassination of scientists at the international level continue.

According to Moj News Agency, Hossein Simaei Sarraf, Minister of Science and Research, stated to reporters today on the sidelines of Dr. Tehranchi’s funeral ceremony: The Zionist regime will once again fail in assassinating Iranian scientists.
Referring to the enemies’ failed attempts to stop the scientific process of the Islamic Republic of Iran, the Minister of Science, Research and Technology emphasized: The enemy has been thinking for more than four decades that he can stop the country’s scientific path with the means of assassination, while he has completely failed so far and will suffer a disgraceful defeat this time as well.
Stating that “testing the tried and tested is a mistake,” Hossein Simaei Sarraf stated: The enemy does not learn from the past and does not know that science and knowledge are indigenous and institutionalized in Iran. The Islamic Republic of Iran has today become a center for producing science in the region and the world, and the martyrdom of our scientists in these crimes will not hinder the country’s scientific progress.
Referring to the successes of Iranian scientists in the international arena, he stated: These scientists, some of whom were martyred in the recent assassination, have, despite scientific sanctions, the highest scientific indicators such as H-Index, scientific references, and publication of articles in the most prestigious international journals, and are considered among the world’s scientific elites.
Simai Sarraf emphasized: We have a duty to protect the lives and health of our scientists, and the country’s security, intelligence, and protection institutions have also made every effort in this regard.
Referring to the measures taken in international forums, the Minister of Science said: We have taken about seven international measures so far. Among these measures was sending an official letter to the Director-General of UNESCO, in which the details of the martyred faculty members were announced and, citing UNESCO documents and recommendations on academic freedom, the clear violation of the rights of academics was documented. We asked UNESCO to respond appropriately.
Referring to the role of the country’s legal community in condemning these assassinations, Simai Sarraf noted: International law scholars have also condemned the assassination of Iranian scientists through legal literature and have proven that the Zionist regime has violated all principles of international law, humanitarian law, academic freedom, and ethical and human principles.
