Martyr Ansari’s wife’s account of his 7 failed assassination attempts

 

 

 

According to Gilanistan, “Martyr Ali Ansari”, the first governor of Gilan after the Islamic Revolution, left his life in America with a strong heart and revolutionary spirit and returned to Iran. He, who had a comfortable life abroad, chose to stand in a position of responsibility in the midst of the 1980s, during the terror, chaos, and economic pressures. This jihadist approach of his not only earned respect from the people, but also put his own life at risk.

On the morning of July 6, 1981, when he was on his way to work at the Gilan Governorate with “Seyed Mojtaba Noorani”, MKO terrorist group took both of their lives and martyred them. Since that day, the people of Gilan Province have remembered this day every year and honored their memory and path.

Hamideh Danesh-Kazemi, wife of Martyr Ansari, said: The first day we arrived in Gilan Province, we were supposed to move to a building, but Martyr Ansari refused; he said that if he was ever attacked, he would not be able to defend himself because of the large number of stairs. At that time, the MKO terrorist group did not even allow young people to live there. If he had settled in that building, he would certainly have been assassinated, and the distance of the stairs was a serious obstacle to his defense.

She added: God did not want us to go to that building, but during the time we were in the province, he was assassinated seven times. The last time, the area around the governor’s office was heavily shelled. It was fate that he would stay until the July 6; every day when he came out, he would say his final goodbyes and say: It is not known whether I will live or not. He was even attacked twice in the governor’s office building.

She added: Imam Khomeini (RA) said: “If a cell of my being is from Imam Hussein (AS), I should act like this.” Martyr Ansari was also among the travelers on this path.

 

Another part of the words of the martyr’s wife was dedicated to the annual tradition of martyrdom until today: Every year on the July 6, I waited for Sardar Salami’s message; he always sent a message and I responded. But this year, there was no news. This year, it was not successful, but I am sure that the martyrs are in a position where their value is preserved in the sight of God.

Regarding the opening of the Saqakhaneh on the anniversary, Danesh Kazemi said: The Saqakhaneh that was opened today is a symbol of the martyrs’ survival. We continue life with the martyrs’ survival.

Referring to the importance of the victims, he continued: The blood of the martyrs is the awakening authority of the people; it will be multiplied from the martyrs.

The wife of martyr Ansari said: The one who creates such problems for the nation and targets our senior commanders, but the people do not even pay attention to his words, should know that the nation is united and rooted. I hope that we will all be brothers with each other, hand in hand, and preserve the revolution.

In the end, he added by quoting a statement from the Supreme Leader: As our beloved leader said: “This revolution is going to reach the hands of the Imam of the Time.”
