Pakistan’s Ministry of Interior announced that the country witnessed 1,514 terrorist attacks in 2023.
According to this report, these attacks resulted in the death and injury of 2,922 people, of which 572 Pakistani soldiers were killed and 1,292 others were injured.
The Ministry of Interior of Pakistan stated that as a result of these attacks, 358 civilians were killed and 700 others were injured.
Mumtaz Zahra Baloch, the spokesperson of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Pakistan, has recently said that the UN Security Council has confirmed that a number of terrorist groups are training in Afghanistan.
He stated that “Tehrik Taliban Pakistan” (TTP) can become a new regional threat.
The spokesperson of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Pakistan added that the Taliban government in Afghanistan should take immediate, effective and strong measures against terrorist groups, including Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan.
On the other hand, the current government of Afghanistan has repeatedly issued a statement emphasizing that the Pakistani authorities justify their failures in providing the security of this country by accusing them.
