Women who separated from the MKO are under threat from group homes in Albania

Association for Defending Victims of Terrorism – the Nejat Association website examined the situation of women who separated from the MKO terrorist group in a report.

In this report, we read that in the years after the establishment of the MKO terrorist organization in Albania, a large number of members of this organization separated from it. The news of the official separation of some of the defectors by joining the Albanian Nejat Association or, before that, the Asila Association, was made public, and some others who did not have any contact with these associations, gradually announced their separation and began to expose the MKO terrorist organization, while maintaining a safe margin for their personal lives. Meanwhile, the number of separated women seems to be very small. This is while the number of women living in the MKO terrorist group headquarters in Albania reaches more than seven hundred. What is clear is that leaving the dreaded MKO organization is much more difficult for women than for men.

The report continues, therefore, the news of women leaving the MKO terrorist group headquarters in Albania is rarely heard. Many of the former child soldiers of the MKO terrorist group who managed to leave this isolated camp have only been willing to write and talk about their childhood and child soldier memories years after leaving the organization. Gina Hossein Nejad and Azadeh Masoum are examples of this. Some of the separated women, such as Atefeh Sabdani’s mother, never spoke, and the news of the separation of some child soldiers, such as Somayeh Mohammadi, daughter of Roqiya Abbasi, was published through other defectors.

Thus, it can be seen that the process of separation from the MKO organization is very difficult for women, and the situation of these people remains a security and stressful situation even long after separation. A news story recently published quoting a user account on Platform X also confirms this dangerous situation for the separated women.

A news story recently published quoting a user account on Platform X. This account, which claims to be a member trapped inside Camp Ashraf 3, revealed that the separated women are being detained in 4 team houses in Albania. The account reports:

“Every night, four responsible sisters, along with the brothers of Ashraf 3’s protection and intelligence, go to and from these safe houses of the organization. The organization has purchased four houses through Albanian friends that house the severed and separated sisters.”

Considering all the documents and evidence that exist about the violation of women’s rights in the organization, from forced celibacy and divorce to their sterilization and sexual abuse by Massoud Rajavi, it is natural that the departure of women from the organization is a matter of utmost security for the leaders.

Previously, the departure of women such as Batoul Soltani, Nadereh Afshari, Nasrin Ebrahimi, Mitra Yousefi, and many others has led to the disclosure of horrific facts about the violation of women’s rights in the MKO organization, and therefore, in recent years, the leaders of the organization have intensified their surveillance and control over the separated members in order to prevent further revelations.

Of course, the Nejat Association report only briefly mentions the issue of moral corruption among members of the MKO terrorist group, while revealing cases such as the Hawz al-Rahay and the existence of unhealthy sexual relationships between members of this terrorist group and its leaders are well-known topics in the news published by these criminals. In any case, the instrumental use of women in the MKO terrorist group is common, and these women are the first victims of their terrorist approach.
