United Nations: Killing civilians in the operation to free Israeli prisoners is probably a war crime

The Association for Defending Victims of Terrorism - The United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights emphasized that killing civilians in incendiary operations to free their captives is probably a war crime.

 

According to ISNA, the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights announced: We are very shocked by the consequences of Israel’s operations for the release of prisoners on civilians. Killing civilians in Israel’s operation to free prisoners is probably considered a war crime.

Earlier, UN Secretary General Antonio Guterres condemned the martyrdom and wounding of hundreds of Palestinian civilians by the army of the occupying regime to free four Zionist prisoners in the Gaza Strip.

274 Palestinians were martyred and more than 698 were injured in the intense artillery and air attacks of the Zionist regime on the Nusirat camp and its surrounding areas in the center of the Gaza Strip. Following this operation, the Zionist army announced the release of its four prisoners from the Nusirat camp.

The Al-Qassam Brigades, the military branch of the Hamas movement, announced that the attacks of the Zionist regime have resulted in the death of three Zionist prisoners.
