The 36th court session examining the charges against 104 members of the People’s Mojahedin Organization, also known as the MKO, and the nature of this organization as a legal entity was held in Branch 11 of the Criminal Court of a Tehran province.

Judge Dehghani said at the beginning of the session: “This court condemns the crimes of the Zionist regime. The country’s armed forces have rightly defended the country’s territorial integrity, independence, and freedom against state terrorism.”

 

He congratulated and condoled the families of the martyrs of the 12-day war and said: “Today, a new form of actions by oppressive countries to weaken and hold back progressive nations is taking place in order to transform and transform the chaotic and oppressive order under the leadership of global arrogant powers by assassinating prominent individuals in developing countries.”

 

Judge Dehghani said: Today, as in the past, colonialism and holding back countries does not occur simply by having a military presence in those countries. Perhaps throughout the 19th century and early 20th century, military violence and invasions were the naked face of oppressive governments to hold back nations and independent states. Today, this model of weakening and holding back nations occurs in the form of very violent violence by creating fear, intimidation, and terror of individuals and human forces in countries.

 

He added: “The most important capital for transformation in countries is human resources. Therefore, the most important strategy for confronting transformation and transformation, moving towards progress and excellence, and preventing disintegration, weakness, and deprivation is to confront terrorism.”

 

Judge Dehghani emphasized: “Perhaps three decades ago, terrorism in the form of organizations and groups attempted to assassinate individuals, scientists, and human forces that were generating change and transformation in countries; today, in addition to organizations, we are faced with a terrorist government. They pursue their efforts by eliminating human forces to create terror and frighten people who want change and freedom in third world countries and especially Islamic countries.”

 

He emphasized: “What our country experienced over the past 12 days has also been experienced over the past 4 decades. It is a new form of terrorism in the world. The attack of a government or regime under any title on another country and the elimination of military and civilian personnel while there is no conflict between them is a clear example of terrorist acts.”

 

Hojjatoleslam Walmuslim Dehghani stated: Today, great powers, in addition to employing terrorist organizations, support regimes with terrorist approaches to reduce their own costs and deprive other countries for their own arbitrariness. The approach that the Judiciary Presidency has been developing is holding independent courts to hear and hear complaints from families and individuals affected by terrorism, the necessity of creating a common judicial front among Islamic countries, and maintaining the approach of combating terrorism, hearing complaints, exchanging experiences between judicial communities, combating organized crime, and confronting the terrible consequences and outcomes of a terrorist state.

 

He added: “Today, many Islamic countries are faced with state terrorism in addition to terrorist organizations; from this day forward, it is necessary for judges in Islamic countries to act in a coordinated, integrated manner, and by creating effective judicial discourses to confront the new dimensions of terrorism in Islamic countries.”

 

Judge Dehghani emphasized: “Therefore, we request that Islamic countries, which are the main target of the fight against this new violence, create a united front and a new judicial order to combat terrorism, in line with the approach taken by the head of the Judiciary of the Islamic Republic of Iran in combating various forms of terrorism in Iran.”

 

He stated: “This trend and its continuation can be considered an obstacle to the spread of this new violence.”

 

Judge Dehghani emphasized: “Given the presence of the plaintiff’s lawyer in court, he is asked to take the stand and make his statements.”

 

Then, Hojjatoleslam Walmuslimin Masoud Maddah, the lawyer representing the case, appeared on the stand and said: “Terrorist groups are infiltrating all over the world. This infiltration is to obtain information about documents, evidence, and documentation for espionage and the transmission of sensitive information. This espionage is a prelude to assassination, threats, and the identification of important and influential people in governments.”

 

He added: “The most central crimes committed by the terrorist group of the MKO are cooperation with hostile states. Terrorist groups carry out their actions in the target country by relying on the spy services and support of some countries.”

 

The lawyer for the case stated: “The legislator has explicitly emphasized in Article 508 that any person or group that cooperates with hostile foreign states and in any way against the Islamic Republic will be sentenced to one to 10 years in prison if they are not recognized as a war criminal.” The legislator does not mean by hostile states simply a state that is currently at war with the Islamic Republic, but rather a state that takes action against the Islamic Republic, even if it has not launched a military attack.

 

Referring to Article 25 of the Law on Punishment of Armed Forces Crimes approved in 2003, he stated: “In this law, groups, criminals, and governments that are at war with the Islamic Republic of Iran, intend to overthrow it, or whose actions are against the security of the country are interpreted as enemies.”

 

He continued: “The note to this article also states that if the court is unable to determine whether a state is a hostile or enemy state, the matter will be inquired into by the Supreme National Security Council through the judiciary and action will be taken based on the opinion of the aforementioned council. Regarding the terrorist group of the MKO, a letter numbered 267339 dated 12/8/1398 was issued by the Supreme National Security Council, and this group and this organization have been recognized as a terrorist group.”

 

Hojjatoleslam wal-Muslimeen Maddah noted: The cooperation of this terrorist group with hostile states is proven. This organization has had serious cooperation with the Iraqi Baath regime. This organization and the child-killing group have serious cooperation with the child-killing Zionist regime. One of the main policies of the MKO is to cooperate with hostile states so that it can advance its actions with the cooperation of these states and receive intelligence, military, financial and weapons assistance from them.

 

He continued: “Based on Article 508 of Book Five and Articles 279 and 286 of the Islamic Penal Code, we can charge all members, defendants, and leaders of the People’s Mojahedin Organization with war and corruption of the earth.” The MKO equipped an army and went to war with their fellow countrymen. In the 1960s, they collaborated with the Iraqi Baath regime; for a while, they collaborated with the United States, and at times, they allied with the Zionist regime. Wherever a line is formed against the people of Iran, the name of the MKO is also in that line.”

 

Hojjatoslam Maddah stated: “The six examples that I have gathered from the intelligence cooperation of the MKO include their involvement in the murder and slaughter of the noble Iranian nation, which they carried out in three operations, which are called Operations Aftab, Chalcheragh, and Faruq Javidan. The second is their propaganda during the war, which includes spreading rumors, calling for hoarding and rebellion, disturbing public opinion with the intention of dealing with the regime, and spreading lies. The third is the act of telephone evacuation, the fourth is the act of wiretapping and eavesdropping, the fifth is computer espionage and unauthorized access to computer data, and the sixth is informing unauthorized persons of secrets, which is one of the activities that these people use to earn money, selling information to spy services.”

 

Regarding the possible complaint regarding the Twelve-Day War, Shakat’s lawyer stated: “I am filing a complaint on behalf of the families of the nuclear martyrs and scientists who were martyred by the Zionist regime, because the MKO has been spying and selling information to the Zionist enemy and America from the beginning during our nuclear process.”

 

He added: “The title of the accusation is collaboration with a hostile enemy, and the reasons for this claim include Massoud Rajavi’s personal statement, which was published on the organization’s website and cyberspace channels one day before the war, and subsequently, after the war, they realized that the people of Iran had not gathered around hypocrisy and the enemy. These people thought that if the government’s fingertips were hit, as happened in the sixties, they could achieve their goals by inciting the people.”

 

Regarding the text of the statement, Shakat’s lawyer said: “In this text, Rajavi stated that after twenty years of delay and appeasement, the regime fell into a trap and another major blow and failure in the strategy of ensuring the survival of the religious dictatorship with the atomic bomb was inflicted after 133 revelations of the regime’s hidden nuclear and missile facilities and equipment in the past 34 years, backed by the heroic people’s uprising.”

 

He continued: “This text was published on channels and a website attributed to the People’s Mojahedin Organization, but it was removed from the websites after a day, and the reason for this is that our enemies are so stupid that they committed the same behavior again today with the same rotten rope that they thought forty years ago could hold the will of the Iranian people.”

 

Lawyer Shekat said: “In the sixties, they thought that if they assassinated the elders of the regime within a few months and then called on the people to revolt, the system would be finished, while our people immediately gave the enemy a slap in the face, and the Mojahedin’s prediction was that at the same time as the Zionist regime attacked our country, they could simultaneously call on the people and various groups to an armed uprising and rebellion and finish the work of the regime and the revolution, and as always, this wish did not come true.”

 

The plaintiff’s lawyer said to the judge: “Given the presence of the family of martyr Abbasi Davani in the hearing to announce the complaint, I request the court president to be present on the stand.”

 

Judge Dehghani said: Before the court began hearing testimony, it considered the bill received from the plaintiff’s lawyer in accordance with Article 359 of the Criminal Procedure Code and the understanding and doctrine that regarding the handling of new charges in the Criminal Court, based on Article 359 of the Criminal Procedure Code, the court is capable of handling new charges in the cases mentioned above.

 

He said: “First, if the new charge is consistent with the previous charge, we are competent to hear it in the same session. We will hear the new charge and the defendant’s lawyers and the defendants themselves will definitely be allowed to defend themselves. 2- If the new charge requires further investigation and even its connection to the previous charge is not clear, according to the doctrine derived from Article 359 of the Criminal Procedure Code, the Criminal Court can begin hearing the new charge.”

 

Judge Dehghani said: “In any case, the new charge filed by the prosecutor’s lawyer or the new charge raised in this court is the collaboration of the first-tier defendant, the second-tier defendant according to the bill received from the prosecutor’s lawyer, the third- and fourth-tier defendants, and against all 104 defendants regarding cooperation with hostile states, cooperation with the usurping Zionist regime in disclosing information, espionage, collecting and selling information according to the bill received from the lawyer. This court considers itself competent to hear the case and announces that it will enter into proceedings against the first-tier defendants and other defendants from the central cadre, the first-tier defendant regarding cooperation with the Zionist regime during the 12-day war, conduct investigations and conduct the necessary examination, and in accordance with legal regulations, the defendant’s lawyers will also be given the opportunity to defend themselves.”

 

The plaintiff’s lawyer continued: “The daughter of martyr Abbasi Davani, one of the nuclear martyrs in the 12-day war who was martyred at the hands of the Zionist regime, is present at the hearing to present her complaint.”

Judge Dehghani said: “The daughter of martyr Abbasi Davani should be placed on the stand.”

 

Zoha Abbasi Davani, the son of martyr Fereydoun Abbasi Davani, a nuclear scientist martyred in the imposed 12-day war, appeared on the stand and said: “I request the court to investigate the role of the terrorist group of the MKO in the failed assassination of my father in 2008, which resulted in the injury of my parents, as well as my father’s martyrdom during the imposed 12-day war.”

 

He added: “The second terrorist attack that led to the martyrdom of my father, the re-injury of my mother, the martyrdom of one of our neighbors, and 28 families losing their homes. My father was not a military man, but a university professor, and he placed great importance on the principle of education and improving the scientific level of the country.”

 

The judge said: “Given that the complaint by the prosecutor’s lawyer is about the role of the first-degree defendant and other defendants in this case in collaborating with the Zionist regime to get nuclear scientists to testify, some of the evidence, as well as a statement released by the second-degree defendant, has been delivered to the court office by the prosecutor’s lawyer. The court, while reviewing these documents for further investigation, will even use the possibility of sending the case back to the prosecution.”

 

Hojjatoleslam Walmuslimin Masoud Maddah, the lawyer for the plaintiffs in the case, stated: “The enemies of the Iranian people in this 12-day war, led by the Zionist regime, clearly showed that their main problem is the independence and freedom of the country and the people of Iran, because there is no reason for a person who has never been a soldier and is a scholar and educated figure with international fame to be martyred; a person who has not even worked for a single day in the guise of a military force.”

 

He added: “These people were scientists and intellectuals of our country who were martyred alongside military commanders. This has only one meaning, and that is that the enemy is opposed to our freedom and independence. As you can see and I mentioned earlier, the terrorist group of the MKO has interfered in our nuclear industry project since it came under the support of the United States and has put actions such as stealing and selling information, identifying and assassinating scientists on its agenda.”

 

Masoud Maddah continued: “On July 1 of this year, I submitted a bill requesting the appointment of an expert to investigate the connection between the MEK and the Zionist regime. Since there may be documents that I, as a lawyer, do not have access to, I request from the court on behalf of my clients that, if possible, the matter be referred to an expert so that they can present their findings in the court session.”

 

Judge Dehghani responded: “In response to the plaintiff’s lawyer’s request, the court has issued an order to seek expert opinions and has appointed experts to examine this issue. The experts have prepared their opinions and, according to the information they have provided to the court, are ready to express their opinions in the court session. If the defendant’s lawyers object to the opinions expressed and this objection is in accordance with the applicable laws, the court will consider the objection and will also use a panel of experts.”

 

He added: “Before hearing the expert opinion, as a judge of the court, I would like to make a point: people who have a complaint against the first defendant or other defendants regarding their collaboration with the Zionist regime during the 12-day war can refer to Criminal Branch 11 of the Tehran Provincial Court or the Tehran Public and Revolutionary Prosecutor’s Office and file their complaints in accordance with the law.”

 

Judge Dehghani emphasized: “There is no difference between military and civilian individuals in the martyrdom and targeting of Iranian citizens. A very important point that is sometimes emphasized is that in the case of civilian citizens, the type of action taken is more obvious and visible. The expert is invited to take the stand.”

 

Morteza Simiari, an expert on West Asian issues, took the stage and, explaining the issue of the cooperation of the terrorist group of the MKO with the Zionist regime in committing crimes and exchanging information with hostile governments, stated: “Since the formation of the terrorist group of the MKO until today, we have been faced with a group that is ideologically completely eclectic, opportunistic, and has unprecedented operational methods.”

He added: “In a pamphlet that the MKO published in 1975 entitled “A Monotheistic Classless Society,” the group emphasized that it is as much an enemy of Zionism as it is of imperialism.”

 

Simiari continued: At the same time, the Mujahid magazine published a statement emphasizing that the Zionists and the imperialists (Americans) were on a united front against the people. Even during that period, the military wing of this group, in cooperation with the Ummat Shuaibiyyah group, published a joint statement and announced that they would stand with the Palestinian movements and wage an armed struggle against Israel. However, this structure underwent a transformation after a while and became a hand-made puppet and an unfettered agent that was placed at the disposal of the warring governments and movements.

 

Explaining the reasons for this change in approach by the terrorist group of the MKO, he stated: “This movement was an eclectic organization from the very beginning, and an eclectic organization acts in complete contradiction. In other words, groups whose main factor is eclecticism gradually become contradictory in their actions. Eclecticism means that they claim to be close to Islam on the surface, but inwardly do not believe in any of the ideals of their charter and statutes. When this group reaches the stage of action, it does not give primacy to its ideals and charter, but rather prioritizes its own interests. These interests have changed at different times. Accordingly, this group has worked for the Iraqi Baath regime at one time, for the CIA at another time, for the French for a while, and since 1988, it has worked directly for the Zionist regime and its intelligence services. In the thinking of this organization, they have no qualms about martyring anyone from a three-year-old child to an eighty-year-old man to achieve their goals.

 

The political expert stated: “This group collects information from the public that may seem simple and trivial at first glance, but this information is processed in the group’s internal headquarters’ information center. This information is processed in Albania by Mahvash Sepehri, in Germany by Javad Daliran, in Norway by Parviz Khazaei, and in the United States by Jafarzadeh (alias Behnam).

 

He added: “Currently, the model of terrorist groups’ activities has evolved and their cyber units use cyberspace to collect information. Using ordinary user accounts, they collect information from citizens about issues such as traffic conditions, weather, water and electricity outages, and other simple issues. In the next stages, these simple issues are linked to terrorist acts. The target population of these groups is mainly young people, teenagers, and people who are in weak security circles.”

 

Simiari emphasized: “In this regard, it is necessary to provide the necessary training to the people so that they do not fall into the intelligence trap of these groups. As during the recent war, the Ministry of Intelligence and the Revolutionary Guards were able to arrest a large number of terrorist elements with the help of public intelligence.”

 

He continued: “These groups collect simple information about the location of hospitals, visiting times, and peak operating hours of hospitals in their contacts with people. The aim of these actions is to increase casualties in terrorist operations. When the enemy attacks kindergartens, hospitals, or nurseries during peak hours, it has no other goal than to create fear and panic and increase civilian casualties.”

 

Simiari stated: The third point is why the MKO group changes its approach, becomes eclectic, and suffers from internal conflicts. This issue is related to the theory of the principle of survival and balance of power. The principle of survival and balance of power means that in order to confront the sacred system of the Islamic Republic of Iran and enter into armed war, this group needs to use foreign factors, namely Western countries and the Zionist regime, to pave its way.

 

He added: “Today, we are no longer facing the terrorist group of the People’s Mojahedin-e Khalq Organization or the MKO, but rather a terrorist cartel that is completely at the disposal of foreign elements.”

 

Simiari emphasized: “To understand the communication model of the MKO group with foreign agents, and especially their relationship with Mossad, it is necessary to explain the organizational structure of this group.”

 

He continued: The terrorist group of the MKO, which is currently based in the Ashraf 3 terrorist camp, consists of several units that they call themselves “headquarters”, including: the External Communications Headquarters, the Internal Communications Headquarters (known as the Research Headquarters), the Public Relations Headquarters, the Intelligence Headquarters, and cyber units. These names differ from their actual missions.

Simiari noted: For example, the Public Relations Headquarters may seem like the group’s external communications, but in fact it is a headquarters that manages terrorist cells called “rebel centers.” In the External Communications Headquarters, the MKO has a list called the “Friends List” that includes foreign services and hostile forces associated with them. For example, the Zionist regime is named “Friend of Aqdas” in this list to create a cover for it.

 

He added: “Whenever these services need the help of the MKO, they contact the Foreign Communications Headquarters, which is headed by a person named Seyyed Muhaddisin in Paris. Muhaddisin has received the necessary training in the field of intelligence and counterintelligence from French and Zionist services. He receives the list of services needed by the Zionists and transfers it to the Internal Headquarters, which is headed by Mahvash Sepehri. After examining the needs, this person actually begins the group operation.”

 

Simiari stated: “Since the most important demand of foreign services from the MKO is to collect information, this group has focused on this issue. But their main problem is that their information penetration does not reach the level expected by foreign agents. Therefore, they are forced to collect information through tricks.”

 

He stated: “After receiving instructions and identifying the enemy’s information needs, the MKO group uses two methods to collect information: the old method of telephone evacuation and the new method of communicating in cyberspace by cyber units.”

 

People should note that the telephone evacuation route is still active for this group. For example, during the 12-day war, calls were made from Albania, Germany, France, and the United States to Iran to gather information about hospitals.

 

Exposing the collaboration of the MKO with the Zionist regime during the 12-day imposed war and the attack on Farabi Hospital in Kermanshah

Simiari added: In one case, a woman in Kermanshah whose home was near a hospital was contacted and asked what hours were the busiest around the hospital. The woman, who was in a weak security zone, replied that there were no parking spaces in the area between 9 and 10 a.m. At exactly 9 a.m., Farabi Hospital was attacked by the Zionist regime.

 

The judge asked: Was this a phone call from Albania?

 

Simyari replied: Yes.

 

The political expert added: “This information is ultimately transferred to the foreign headquarters, namely the Sayyid Muhaddisin. The final editing of the information is done by him and then it is made available to the Zionist regime.”

 

The judge stated: “As an expert, if you have any documents or evidence related to your statements, present them to the court. Also, the lawyers in the case should state if they have any objections or statements regarding the documents and points raised.”

 

Simiari replied: “Regarding the attack on Farabi Hospital in Kermanshah, I will present documents and request the court to examine the explanations of eyewitnesses to this attack. The MKO terrorist group is a multifaceted group and does not limit itself to intelligence operations. This group may carry out multiple terrorist acts depending on the circumstances and display dual behavior.”

 

He added: The MKO group acts in two ways in relation to foreign agents (such as the Zionist regime): either it communicates openly and recklessly, or informally and secretly. Their direct relationship is similar to the relationship they have with the French government. Maryam Rajavi has repeatedly stated in her speeches that we are slaves to our landlord and that we must obey any order the French give. In exchange for this obedience, they receive services such as changing their identity, passports, transportation facilities, etc.

 

This political expert stated: Another service the MKO provides to the French is to disrupt relations in their favor. For example, during the recent nuclear negotiations, the French, in order to gain more points, gave the MKO a mission to lobby the United States to increase the Americans’ demands for the negotiations. Maryam Rajavi ordered the members of the group to establish contacts with members of Congress and American senators. One of these contacts was established through the old channel of Rubio, the US Secretary of State.

 

The judge asked: What do you mean by “old canal”?

 

Simiari replied: Rubio has been in contact with the MKO for 10 years, has attended their meetings, and has spoken at their gatherings in Paris. The MKO group, with its dirty money, is attracting the attention of some American politicians to increase anti-Iranian lobbying efforts. In fact, the French used the MKO during the negotiations to create a rift between Witkoff and Rubio. This led to the negotiations in the last round even leading to a disagreement between American officials.

 

Simiari continued: “To prove that the MKO is not simply a terrorist group, but rather a criminal intelligence cartel, it must be said that in addition to being active in murder cases and gathering information from within the country, as a foreign agent, they also have foreign cases in their possession, which is noteworthy.”

 

He added: “For example, during the Ukraine war and the related peace file, a group of MKOs gathered Ukrainians and refugees from different places and held demonstrations in Paris for them to chant slogans against Putin and completely disrupt the peace talks. Even Keith Kluge, the former US representative for Ukraine, was invited to Paris and met with the MKOs with the help of the French.”

 

Simiari noted: “Now, in examining the MKO group, we are faced with a newer phenomenon that is notable after the 12-day war. This phenomenon indicates an intertwined relationship with external factors, especially intelligence services and Mossad. This group is taking actions that indicate a genetic mutation and is operating beyond groups such as Jaysh al-Zalm, Abdulmalek Rigi, or other Takfiri terrorist groups.”

 

He added: “For this reason, the MKO has a special place in the American-Zionist operations room during the 12-day war.” In the second part of my speech, I will mention the connections of the MKO group with the Mossad. The first contact between the MKO and the Zionist regime was established in December 1988 in Wales.

 

Simiari continued: “This period was after the end of the war and Operation Mersad, when the atmosphere in society had calmed down. At this stage, the Zionists went to the MKO group to gather information from the interior of Iran and Iraq. But in the very first meeting, the Mossad service concluded that the MKO group was two-faced and that it was impossible to communicate with them.”

 

He said: “The Mossad report states that the MKO is heavily dependent on Iraqi intelligence and that it is wrong to communicate with them. This communication was severed in 1988. The second communication between the MKO and Mossad was established in 1996 in Manchester, England, in a secure building owned by the Zionists.”

 

Simiari added: “In this meeting, Mossad announced that it pays the MKO for the work they do, but it has no trust in them, because they have collaborated with Iraqi intelligence for years. To prove its good faith, Mossad demanded the interrogation of each and every member of the MKO.”

 

He noted: “In this meeting, the Shabak (counterintelligence) official treated the members of the MKO with a contemptuous tone. After inquiring about the Iraqi officials and the structure of their intelligence organization, he told the MKO: “Take this money and go, you don’t have to do anything for us.” This meeting was held in England in 1996.

 

Simiari clarified: At that time, the members of the MKO were uncertain about their fate after the fall of Saddam. At this point, a message was issued to the members by the group’s command, saying: “Don’t worry. A new phase has opened before us, and whatever action is taken, we are in a safe situation, so don’t worry.”

 

He added: The Rent Security Institute published a report about this historical moment in 2009. According to this report, when the US army reached the Ashraf terrorist headquarters, it asked the members of the group to surrender, but the leaders of the MKO, through their connection with the Mossad and through their lobbying, took advantage of the US and succeeded in remaining in the headquarters.

 

This political expert recalled: Based on the exchanges that the MKO group had with the Zionist regime, the group was required to carry out five actions for the Zionists, and in return, the Zionists guaranteed two of the MKO’s demands. In the first meeting held in Baghdad in 2003, the MKO group was asked to implement the Fatah, missile, nuclear, axis of resistance, and internal fever-checking projects for the Zionists.

The purpose of internal fever-checking was to examine the internal situation and circumstances in Iran. For this purpose, they used telephone evacuation methods and cyber activities.

 

He emphasized: The MKO had connections with the Fatah group before the revolution, and the Zionists were aware of these connections. They asked the MKO to gather information about the Fatah group, investigate Iran’s connections with this group, and influence Fatah’s decision-making. These actions are evidence of the hypocrisy of this group, because they betrayed their friend and ally. In return for these actions, the MKO received money from the Zionists, and the Mossad also created a lobby for them in the United States. In this regard, a person named Jafarzadeh, alias Behnam, manages this lobbying in the United States. The result of this lobbying was the removal of the terrorist label from the MKO organization.

Simiari stated: I present documents about the MKO’s connection with the Mossad. These documents have been updated and can be published in the media to be exploited. Both the MKO and the Zionists should know that all their relationships and actions are under complete intelligence surveillance.

He continued: “The next meeting was tense and the information requested from the MKO was presented. The person in charge of the meeting said with anger and extreme insult: “Conservative work is not acceptable. Tell me exactly what you can do, including military work?”

 

Simiari stated: The third meeting was held in 2008 with Mossad officers. In this meeting, two Mossad experts were present, whose names I will refrain from mentioning due to their current responsibilities in Mossad. They told the MKO: “The information you provided has been reviewed. Your information must be pure. This time, provide information about nuclear facilities, regional developments, finance, and information technology.”

 

He added: “In this meeting, the Mossad officer emphasized that they needed information about nuclear scientists, their addresses, emails, and movements. In a meeting held a month later, the MKO provided information about Martyr Fakhrizadeh. This information was not gathered through infiltration of Iran’s intelligence or military systems, but through phone calls, weak security circles, and cyber communications.”

 

He added: “In fact, at this stage, the assassination of nuclear scientists takes place.”

 

The court judge said: “Given that the leaking of telephone information and the collection of confidential and classified news and information and making them available are among the charges against the defendants in the case, and according to the plaintiff’s lawyer’s bill regarding the complaint regarding cooperation with the Israeli government, the court has entered into an investigation to examine this claim; therefore, what is raised by the court-appointed expert regarding these issues will be recorded.”

 

Simiari stated: In the same meeting, when the initial information about martyr Fakhrizadeh is provided to Mossad, the Mossad officer asks the MKO member for the source of the information and asks him to bring his source of information with him in the next meeting. After the meeting, Bijan Rahimi says: They (the Zionist regime) want to give us bombs so that we can carry out operations inside Iran, but we do not have forces inside the country and this is very bad.

 

He continued: “According to a document, a week before the martyrdom of Martyr Fakhrizadeh, a press conference was held in the United States, in which Jafarzadeh, by publishing a picture of Martyr Fakhrizadeh, introduced him as the person responsible for building a nuclear bomb in Iran, and a week after that, Martyr Fakhrizadeh was martyred. Jafarzadeh is in charge of the foreign headquarters of the MKO in the United States.”

 

Hojjatoleslam Walmuslimin Masoud Maddah, the lawyer representing the case, said: “I would like to make a few points. First, these crimes were all committed in an organized manner. As the experts said, and as evidence and reasons exist, the MKO is carrying out engineering operations, bombings, and terrorizing ordinary people with the same organization that it was in the 1960s.”

 

He said: “With the same organization today, they commit these crimes and have these collaborations with hostile governments. These crimes are attributed to all members and central cadres, which is why the organization is evident.”

 

Lawyer Shekat said: “The hypocrites later collaborated with Saddam because they had no place in Iran, and they were equipped by him and came to war with their fellow countrymen, and they targeted our cities with military equipment and entered the cities, and finally, from where the Americans invaded Iraq and they could not communicate with Saddam, they communicated with America and from one place to another they communicated with Mossad; therefore, all the accusations that exist against the leaders also exist against the later members of this group.”

 

Hojjat al-Islam wal-Muslimeen Maddah emphasized: Another point is that the crime of collaborating with hostile states by a terrorist group and organization is required.

 

He said: “The MKO has an interior headquarters, and within it there are several departments, some of which are only responsible for wiretapping, some for telephone interception, and some for cyberspace. On the other hand, there are some who finance these activities, and some negotiate with intelligence services. Therefore, we are dealing with a group that is organized and commits crimes.”

 

Then the wife of martyr Masoud Ali Mohammadi, one of the martyrs of the nuclear scientist, appeared on the stand and said: “My wife showed me emails and pictures of nuclear sites 10 days before her martyrdom and said that the MKO sent me these pictures and emails and asked me to express my opinion about these pictures.”

 

He added: “Exactly 10 days after this incident, my wife was martyred. When they saw that my wife was not willing to cooperate with them, they martyred her. The MKO proved from the beginning of the revolution that they have no other business than betraying the Iranian nation. They played a role in the assassination of my wife, and this act was not only his assassination, but also the scientific assassination of the country, and this scientific assassination can have a great impact on the fate of the Iranian nation. I am filing a complaint in court against the traitors to the homeland and the perpetrators of the MKO, and I ask you to bring them to justice for their actions.”

 

Hassan Eskandari, who fought against the ideas and beliefs of the MKO in 1979 and whose wife was martyred by this group, appeared on the stand and said: “On the day of the incident, the MKOs were loudly knocking on my door and my 6-year-old daughter opened the door in fear. The MKOs pushed her aside, entered the house, and my wife, who was 26 years old, a mother of 4 children and a housewife, and had no particular political or social responsibilities, was having breakfast with guests. They shot everyone.”

 

He said: “Before the assassination, they had sent me letters and threatened me several times, but I did not respond and said that I was not someone who wanted to be harmed. I have a photo of the two terrorists who came to my house.”

 

Mohsen Eskandari emphasized: “On this day, when my wife notices the presence of these people, she comes to the corridor and chants “Death to the hypocrite and Death to America,” and they assassinate her. Then they also martyr my sister’s son and my cousin’s daughter-in-law.”

 

He said: “Later, I was invited to a meeting where these two terrorists who had committed the crime were being interrogated. The interrogator was telling them, ‘Why did you bring Mr. Eskandari’s wife and their guests to testify, who were innocent?’ The criminal lowered his head and had no answer. I was upset by this scene because they forced a 27-year-old, educated young man to do such a thing.”

 

Eskandari emphasized: “The MKO has committed many crimes, according to their own admission and the available documents, and they were only after power and would do anything for it. However, the real power is in the hands of God and true believers attain power from God.”

 

He said: “I request that the court take the necessary steps to cut off the cooperation of those who are still committing crimes in this terrorist group, especially those who committed crimes in Iran and against the people of our country during the 12-day war.”

 

After that, Mansour Eskandari, the daughter of martyr Eshrat Eskandari, appeared on the stand and said: I was 4 years old at the time and I was the last one to wake up. When I woke up to the sound of gunfire, I was looking for my mother, but I couldn’t find her. On the way to the kitchen to find my mother, I came across the bodies of my cousin and my cousin-in-law, covered in blood. They were eating breakfast at the table when they were shot to death.

 

He added: “Then I went to the terrace crying and saw my mother’s body there. When I was standing next to my mother’s body, I was shot and fell right there. These horrific and terrifying images have been etched in my mind since I was 4 years old. My mother was a housewife and my only memory of her is vague childhood memories. In the most difficult circumstances of my life, when I needed my mother’s emotional support, I was deprived of it.”

 

The judge asked: How many people attacked your house?

 

He replied: “Given my age, I don’t remember exactly. But I remember that two people pulled guns on me while I was a 4-year-old homeless child. I have a complaint against those who deprived me of my mother’s embrace for more than 40 years. I am very grateful for the judiciary’s pursuit and investigation of these crimes.”

 

The son of martyr Haj Ali Rezaei and brother of martyr Hamid Reza Rezaei appeared on the stand and said: “On January 20, 1970, my brother, on March 20, 1980, my father, and six months later, my uncle’s son-in-law and my cousin were martyred by a group of hypocrites, and I will explain the details of their martyrdom.”

 

He continued: “My father, brother, and also martyr Hassan Hemmat Yar were not members of any political organization or institution, they were only religious. My father’s job was as a businessman, and my brother also worked alongside him, and my father had said to treat me like a worker and give me the same rights as you give a worker. In 1978, my father was also a militant, and SAVK at that time raided our house, and because our neighbor was in the police station and had said that Hajj Rezaei was disturbing our sleep at night, and it was at 2:00 in the morning that they raided our house, and my mother was pregnant with my brother at that time, and she was very scared, and this is from my father’s revolutionary background.”

 

Rezaei stated: In 1979, when the MKO group was formed, the assassinations began. First, they assassinated my brother in Haft Tir Square because he was religious and shot him in the teeth with a Colt. Even though there were several hospitals nearby, they held him in their arms to show that this was evidence of Khomeini’s crime. When my brother’s tooth was broken, the bullet entered his throat and suffocated him. When they informed my father at 12:30 at night, they realized that my brother had been taken to Sina Hospital, where no one was allowed in at that hour. Our eldest son-in-law went to the morgue with a relative and saw that they were cutting open my brother’s head with scissors to show that they had beaten him with a 3-gun.

 

He added: “There, our son-in-law takes the body and runs away, and the hypocrites wanted to hold a funeral ceremony for my brother in Behesht Zahra the next morning or hold a funeral for my brother in Al-Jawad Mosque, but my father finds out and disrupts the funeral ceremony and says, ‘I am the martyr’s father, and how dare you put yourself in the place of the martyr’s father.’ The next day, my father held the ceremony himself, and in the photo, he is also present with Hajj Agha Jalali, the representative of the Supreme Leader of Tehran.

 

Rezaei said: After the hypocrites did not oppose my father, they gave him a letter asking Hajj Rezaei to stop exposing us and why are you disrupting our ceremony. My father replied that you have been deceived and stopped doing these things and have stained your hands with my son’s blood. After they saw that my father would not back down in any way, three representatives of their group members sent to our house on Friday afternoon. The representatives told my father that we are announcing the Shifas and that if you continue, we will beat you and that we have shown 13 male members of Rezaei’s family and my father replied that if you are a man, come.

 

He added: “Those days coincide with Muharram when my father turns his shop into a Husseiniya and the hypocrites send letters again saying, ‘Don’t turn your shop into a Husseiniya and don’t put up pictures of Mr. Rajai and Bahonar in the shop.'” My father replies, “I will not give up on Imam Hussein (AS) and I am with this revolution.”

 

Iraj Salehi, a member who broke away from the People’s Mojahedin Organization, appeared on the stand as an informant and said: The MKO claimed that the Zionist regime was the enemy of Muslims and that this was the product of imperialist ideas, and imperialism was the most advanced capitalist system that was anti-people and that it was led by America. They claimed that Rajavi had been trained in Palestine and fought the Israelis, and that when Mr. Arafat came to Iran, he had gone to meet him and given him weapons, saying that one day we took weapons from you to fight the Shah, and today we are taking weapons from you to fight the Zionists.

 

Salehi stated: After a while, they saw that the atmosphere towards the Zionists had changed, and since Arafat came to Iran, Rajavi held a meeting and cursed Arafat a lot, spoke a lot against him, and announced regarding the Zionists that we recognize Israel behind the backs of the Palestinians. This was the same person who had previously said that the Zionists were puppets of imperialism.

 

He added: “The MKO used codes to provide information to Iraq, and because Saddam had fallen out with the Americans after the Kuwait affair and Rajavi was with Saddam, the Americans did not take him in very often. When Saddam died, Rajavi changed his line and the person behind Saddam stated that we would continue the parallel line with America and would not interfere with it.”

 

Salehi stated: There was a woman named Mehri Hajian, who was in charge of the intelligence department and was also one of the defendants, who had a meeting with people of different backgrounds. When we went to the room, she had not yet wiped the board and had written down the items related to Kaviani and the items related to Atlas. I asked Shahrokh Tavakoli what these meant. He said, “Don’t do anything.” Later, I realized that their main job was Iran’s nuclear program.

 

He said: “They had a department called listening that had come to their headquarters during the ceasefire after the war and had a listening system that was connected to the intelligence department. The head of intelligence was a woman with the pseudonym Zarrin and next to her was Ismail Mortezai with the pseudonym Javad Khorasan who, along with Parviz Karimian, delivered all the information to the Americans and communicated with the Americans at the level of sergeant and wanted them to be in Iraq and not be disbanded, for which purpose they transferred all of Iran’s military information to the Americans.”

 

Regarding the Zionist regime’s attack on Iran, Salehi noted: On June 10, Alireza Jafarzadeh and Samsami had a meeting in Washington to prove that Iran was seeking an atomic bomb in its nuclear program. This was just before the night of the attack on Iran, and as stated, Rajavi had also sent a message, and on the night the Americans attacked, Maryam Rajavi sent a message that the work of the Iranian leader was finished. This was all planned in advance.

 

He added: A person named Muhaddesin, with the pseudonym Behnam, is responsible for their foreign relations and is responsible for all transactions with intelligence agencies and representatives of other countries. All their demands were given to Mahvash Sepehri to be communicated to the units, and Sepehri was almost the third person in the organization. After the overthrow of Saddam, they did another thing, in which they used Alireza Jafarzadeh as an expert on FOX NEWS, and his job was to justify the US attack on Iraq and the necessity of fighting Iran under the guise of fundamentalism.

 

Salehi said: They took action against Iran’s nuclear program 133 times and were the first to introduce the name of martyr Fakhrizadeh as the mastermind of Iran’s nuclear program, which shows that they were in complete coordination with the Zionists, and the MKO repeats every issue that Netanyahu had in mind after the overthrow of the JCPOA, such as the one they had in mind. Also, after Hamas attacked Israel, Rajavi and other officials constantly said that the head of the snake is in Tehran, we must attack Tehran, and even Rajavi had a message saying that the time has come to pull the trigger and that we must abandon appeasement.

 

Maddah said: Both the expert and the informant who were members of the organization who had defected, mentioned the names of some members of the MKO group that are not in the indictment and if you order, the prosecution should start an investigation into them. People like Alireza Jafarzadeh, who published images of our nuclear sites in Washington on August 13, 2002 and is one of the people who for the first time mentioned the name of martyr Fakhrizadeh and introduced him in spy services. Minuchehr’s son, who was one of the martyrs of the twelve-day imposed war, is present in the meeting and will come to the stand to explain.

 

The son of one of the martyrs appeared on the stand and said: “I have a complaint regarding the martyrdom of my mother and father. My father had been threatened several times and they were calling his office at the college. They had even made and sent him several videos, which I witnessed myself.

 

He said: “The first time they threatened my father was before the assassination of Dr. Shahriari, and it continued after that, and I am aware of three cases. My brother was studying outside of Iran, and the US intelligence service had detained my brother for three days, first threatening him and then starting to bribe him.”

 

The judge asked: What was your father’s job?

 

The martyr’s son said: “He was a professor at Beheshti University. He did not hold any position in the Atomic Energy Organization.”

 

The judge said: Were they still active in the fuel cycle group while they were at university?

 

The martyr’s son said: Yes. They were among the main professors of the fuel cycle department. At the same time, they were also the dean of the faculty.

 

The judge said: What time did your father’s testimony take place and where?

 

The martyr’s son said: They were with my mother. At 3:20 am on Friday, June 13, a rocket had directly entered the house and 3 floors were completely destroyed and 18 people were martyred. I live an independent life and did not live in this house. I request domestic and international follow-up against the actions of the MKO and the Zionist regime.

 

Then, Mohammad Razzaqi, a member of the MKO who broke away, appeared on the stand as an informant and said: “I have been in contact with the MKO since 1988, and I was sent to Iraq in 1989, and I was in Iraq until 2008, when I was imprisoned in an American prison for 4 years because I broke away from the MKO. This prison was in the northern part of Camp Ashraf.”

 

The judge asked: Do you have any information about the cooperation of the MKO group with the Zionist regime?

 

Razzaqi replied: I remember that Maryam Rajavi once said in one of her speeches: We broadcast our television for a few weeks on an Israeli satellite, but we withdrew from this possibility because we did not want to arouse the sensitivity of the landlord (Saddam). This cooperation was planned by a member of the MKO named Dayeh Salam?

 

He continued: “My job was in the Transportation and Transportation Organization. Everything the organization needed, from salt to Katyusha weapons, was supplied by Iraq and Saddam’s government, and they didn’t receive any money or even a letter in return. This means that Saddam’s regime had full support for the MKO.”

 

Issa Azadeh, a dissident member of the MKO, appeared as an informant via video call at the court hearing to state some things about the connection between Rajavi’s terrorist organization and the Zionist regime, and said: “There is an element in the terrorist organization theorized by Rajavi himself, and that is that whoever in this world has the slightest enmity or war with the Islamic Republic of Iran, we recognize them as our best friend, no matter which country they are. I swear that I have heard this many times in the organization that it is said at the level of higher officials that even if a person, a system, or a regime in this world throws a stone at the Islamic Republic of Iran, we will kiss their hands and feet.”

 

He continued: “The connection of this organization with the Zionist regime is not a new issue. The first crime occurred in 1991, and after Israel provided information to the MKO, they began to expose Iran’s nuclear issues. In 1992, Israel, through its elements and the CIA, obtained a set of information regarding the Islamic Republic’s scientific work in Iran. Israel had previously provided this information to a number of other factions that were opposed to the Islamic Republic of Iran, but they did not accept it.”
