Socializing terrorism; the goal of Sistan’s insecurities
Association for Defending Victims of Terrorism – According to the Farhikhtegan website, one of the goals of terrorist operations in Sistan and Baluchestan is to generally exclude investors and prevent the development and progress of the province.

When armed terrorist operations and clashes with various security forces in the province constantly occur in an area, investors naturally feel unsafe bringing their capital to that area; but in some cases, terrorism directly confronts the progress and welfare of the people, including the terrorist operation two days ago that was carried out against engineers responsible for the Chabahar to Zahedan water transfer project.
In this context, the Farhikhtegan website conducted an interview with a regional security expert, which is detailed below:
A mercenary group with several foreign agents
This regional security expert explains that Jaysh al-Zalm is biologically a terrorist group with several agents (agents) claiming to establish a Baloch civilization in the southeastern corridor, which has caused increasing insecurity. This terrorist group has gradually grown genetically in recent years due to the support of 11 foreign intelligence services that are hostile to it, and today it is a small private group with mercenary characteristics. It is noteworthy that despite the high load (receiving logistical and weapons assistance) from the enemies, this group has not been socialized in any way and has not had the ability to recruit from within. In other words, Jaysh al-Zalm, despite the high volume of propaganda and use of the cyber network, has failed to recruit even a few forces from within the country and is forced to hire foreign mercenaries.
In the recent crimes of this group, investigations show that the cadres of this organization are non-Iranians and include citizens from some neighboring countries, Central Asia, and even terrorists who have recently been used in the Syrian war. For example, Abdolrahman Fattahi, the head of the Iranian desk in the Golan regime, who also had a history of membership in the terrorist group “Sunni Iranian Refugee Movement”, recruited for this group at the Bukamal border and hired foreign mercenaries by paying them amounts of more than $200 per day. After being recruited, these individuals were transferred to Pakistan and used by Jaysh al-Zalm in terrorist operations.
Jaysh al-Zalm and the lack of social authority
He continues, referring to the weakness of the terrorists in that region in attracting popular support: “It should also be noted that the Jaysh al-Zalm group is run centrally in terms of organization. If this biological model cannot attract and recruit through propaganda, it will have to continue its existence by using “social terror,” therefore the attack on Chabahar Port, road construction equipment, and the last case regarding the water supply project must be analyzed and examined from this angle. Simply put, since this group lacks public authority in the region, it has shown more and more evil day by day to the point where it has also damaged local infrastructure, which, contrary to the false claims of these evildoers, is in social understanding. In the analysis that hostile services such as Mossad have provided to this group, it has been emphasized that hitting infrastructure will cause social crises, which is of course a completely false hypothesis. For example, Mohammad Khansari, the head of the propaganda of the MKO, recently said in a meeting that this group has burned the subject of Friday prayers in the city of Zahedan with its sinister actions.
Fake news alongside terrorist operations
Terrorists are trying to influence the psychological atmosphere with fake news and virtual and media operations in addition to operations on the street. This regional security expert explains in this regard: “Interestingly, in recent days, in addition to terrorist acts and attacks on public infrastructure, the growth of rumors and fake news has also been high in this province, all of which originate from Unit 8200 of the Zionist regime’s army, and its goal is to produce insecurity, local unrest, and increase the cycle of social violence. Analysis of Jaysh al-Zalm’s behavior shows that this is an organized group with a villainous character that has changed its structure over time and has become the pawn of enemy intelligence services. By outlining the situation of Jaysh al-Zalm, it should be noted that dealing with the phenomenon of terrorism and the factors that produce insecurity and violence in the southeast of the country is not one-dimensional and requires multiple components. Neighboring countries of the Islamic Republic of Iran should understand that the phenomenon of terrorism is multifaceted and its solution requires joint security diplomacy. Putting diplomatic subtleties and economic advantages together will limit the insecurity factor. The recent movements of the Taliban have also shown that they are also distancing themselves from the phenomenon of radical groups and are promoting moderate forces.”
Security from the Heart of the Community
This security expert says about how to ensure security in the region: “The valuable experience of martyr Shushtari has shown us that raising the level of dealing with this insecurity factor must be hybrid, meaning that in addition to security-building exercises, the high capacities of cultural communication, especially focusing on deep and civilizational relations, must also be used properly. At this stage, prominent scholars of the Islamic world, especially the elders of the Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam Pakistan, such as Maulana Fazlur Rehman and the remaining opinions of the late Maulana Hamidul Haq and the elders of the Jamaat-e-Islami Pakistan, as well as Shia scholars, can produce a reading that will significantly limit the phenomenon of Takfiri propaganda.
