Iran now faces two types of terrorism: economic terrorism and terrorist acts.

Association for Defending Victims of Terrorism - The Iranian ambassador to Germany said: Iran is now facing two types of terrorism: economic terrorism and terrorist acts, both of which occur in the shadow of the exaggeration of warmongers.

Majid Nili, the Iranian ambassador to Germany, wrote in a post on the X social network: In a letter to German political and media circles, I stated: “The peaceful protests that began on December 28, 2025 due to economic problems, including cruel and illegal sanctions, turned violent between January 8 and 10, 2026 with the intervention of armed and terrorist elements. Field evidence and media statements by some Western and Israeli warmongers confirm the destructive role of the Israeli and American regimes in these events; the same ones who launched the 12-day aggression against Iran in June 2025 without any justification.”

According to Tabnak, citing ISNA, he added: “According to many observers, January 8-10 can be considered the ’13th day of the 12-day aggression.'”

Nili noted, “The bitter irony of the story is that the same parties that remained silent during the June aggression against Iran, or with their silence practically accompanied the aggressors, are now seeking to distort reality by continuing to make accusations against Iran, by evading responsibility.”

The Iranian ambassador to Germany stated: “Iran is now facing two types of terrorism: economic terrorism and terrorist acts, both of which occur in the shadow of the warmongers’ excesses. History has shown that the warmongers will not succeed this time either.”
