France’s counter-terrorism prosecutor’s office said on Friday that two 16-year-old teenagers were arrested in the north of the country earlier this week on suspicion of planning attacks on shopping malls and concert venues.
“One of these teenagers had begun to follow extremist propaganda,” the French counter-terrorism prosecutor’s office said, without naming the individuals.
