Guterres: world leaders should solve the conflicts based on multilateralism
IRNA reported that, Antonio Guterres in 23th session of the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum said: we believe that all the countries should share in multilateral world and cooperations and the world is not the US and China but we have other new economic powers like Russia and India.
Guterres warns against a new cold war and said: we should learn from past experiences and be cooperative in front of challenges.
UN Secretary General asserted that world challenges need a global response and no one country can tackle global problems alone and said: the system (United Nation) that created 75 years ago and after the world war II has been successful in saving humankind from many wars but we see nowadays that the values created by the UN are becoming useless or are been challenged by some parties – as Donald Trump.
Guterres said that justice is the main priority of this organization in global arena in the globalization era and added: because of the situation in the world many are rich now and have relative well-being but the wave of welfare and development has not included all the countries and we see increasing immigration and debt in some countries.
