ADVTNGO’s statement condemning the terrorist attack in Afghanistan

The terrorist attack on prayers in Nangarhar province, eastern Afghanistan, in Friday 16 October, resulted in death or injure of 98 people.

This attack and same attacks on Afghan, Pakistani and Egyptian mosques and the Crist Church in new Zealand, and also attacks on churches in Egypt, Pakistan, Sri Lanka and Burkina Faso and Synagogues  in USA and Germany show that not only there is no relation between religions and terrorism, but religions are main targets for terrorists.

Basically, there is no correlation between divine religions and crimes and they are in opposite of divine religions’ teachings on the sanctity of human lives and avoidance of inflicting others in any situation.

Abusing of the sacred and religious or ethnic differences and creating endless wars is in accord with the economic systems based on earning from arms sales and arms races and is the main cause of tensions around the world.

It is duty of religious leaders and elites to illuminate about and prevent this abuse of the sacred in deluding society and informing about main roots of evils and insecurities around the world.

Association for Defending Victims of Terrorism condemns this terrorist attack and condoles with survivors and prays for the healing of those wounded and calls all religious leaders to react informingly against this historical fraud in abusing the sacred and ask them to weaken bases of abusing divine religions by terrorism.
