Message of the Association for Defending Victims of Terrorism on the Occasion of the Birthday of Jesus Christ
In a message, the Association for Defending Victims of Terrorism congratulated the birthday of Jesus Christ (PBUH) to the followers of the divine religions. The text of this message is as follows:
We cordially congratulate all Christians of the world and other followers of the divine religions on the auspicious birthday of Jesus Christ (PBUH), the Prophet of Love and Friendship, as well as the Christmas 2022. The birthday of this great prophet is an opportunity to review the role of the teachings of religions in creating friendship, peace and tranquility in human life. Ignorance of these teachings has caused endless suffering to human society.
The teachings of all religions from Zoroastrianism to Judaism and Christianity and Islam revolve around mutual respect, altruism, non-discrimination and building an ideal society based on justice so that violence and violation of the rights of others no longer exist. But, the superpowers with the economies based on the production and export of weapons, have fueled ethnic and religious conflicts and have deprived the world of peace and security with the ominous phenomena of Takfir, extremism and terrorism. Now Jesus Christ’s message to the world, especially the true followers of Christ, is to return to our human nature and stop oppressing and violating the rights of others.
The Association for Defending Victims of Terrorism believes that as long as the powers of the world do not have a real commitment to the teachings of religions and continue to pursue policies of production of arms and sale with full interest, and the voices of men, women and children are buried under the ashes of these bombs and weapons, no commemoration will have its true meaning.
