Statement of the Association for Defending Victims of Terrorism in Condemnation of the Terrorist Attack at Abdul Rahim Shahid School in Kabul, Afghanistan

The Association for Defending Victims of Terrorism in a statement condemned the recent terrorist attack in Kabul, Afghanistan. The text of this statement is as follows:

Again the terrorists caused another catastrophe and killed dozens of innocent students at the Abdul Rahim Shahid School in Kabul. One has to ask, is killing innocent children, even during the holy month of Ramadan, a sign of power or the ultimate helplessness and disability? The coincidence of this crime with the anniversary of the terrorist attack on the Sayyid al-Shuhada school happened last year in Kabul shows that the terrorists are more helpless than before and desperately only seek to show off and cause fear in society.

This shameful act of killing defenseless children and desecrating the holy book of Muslims in Sweden shows that terrorists and anti-religious people are moving in the same direction and oppose any kind of knowledge, awareness and logic and they want to cover their weakness with violence. We believe that takfir and anti-religionism are not related to any religion, but are tools to provide the interests of the hegemonic system in the world, which, by producing violence and crime, interrupt the way for unity, security and progress for nations.

The Association for Defending Victims of Terrorism condemns this tragic attack and expresses its condolences to the families of the victims of this terrorist crime and wishes divine forgiveness for the martyrs and immediate healing for the wounded and patience for the mourning families and calls on the international community, especially the UN, the International Criminal Court (ICC) to consider terrorism and anti-religionism as a global problem and to seek to undermine its foundations in any way it can, and request the authorities of the countries to prosecute the perpetrators of recent attacks.
