Association for Defending Victims of Terrorism – The Ambassador of the Republic of Iraq to the Holy See, Rahman Farhan Al-Amiri, received on 10/12/2023 at the embassy headquarters the President of the International Association for Victims of Terrorism (AIVIT), Mr. Marco Valvela, which specializes in documenting the suffering of victims of terrorism and their families.
There was talk about the desire of the AIVIT Association to hold an exhibition to bear witness to the last fifty years of terrorism in the world and to commemorate its victims, and the intention to establish a special section (within the aforementioned exhibition) on Iraq. For his part, Ambassador Al-Amiri expressed his readiness to cooperate with Mr. Valvilla in this regard to explain what Iraq has gone through during the past years due to terrorism, and that it is one of the countries that has suffered the most from terrorism and has lost many victims and innocent people because of it.
