Trump’s proposal to relocate Palestinians from Gaza is in conflict with international resolutions

Association for Defending Victims of Terrorism- Human Rights Watch Europe-Mediterranean expressed its deep concern over and condemned the statements of US President Donald Trump.

According to the report, Trump announced in his statements the proposal to relocate Palestinians from their lands and called on neighboring countries to accept Palestinians from the Gaza Strip.

Following this incident, Human Rights Watch Europe-Mediterranean expressed its deep concern over and condemned the statements of US President Donald Trump.

The human rights organization emphasized that any plan to forcibly transfer a civilian population under conditions of occupation is a clear violation of the Fourth Geneva Convention, which clearly prohibits the forcible transfer of a population under such conditions. In addition, such plans constitute a war crime and a crime against humanity and are contrary to the natural and internationally guaranteed right of the Palestinian people to remain in their homes and homelands.

The statement said that the forced transfer of Palestinians is not only an international crime but also part of a strategy aimed at reinforcing the crimes of forced deportation and planned expulsion that “Israel” has been committing against Palestinians for decades.

The Euro-Mediterranean Human Rights Watch called for a regional and international stance against Trump’s statements on the deportation of Gaza residents
