Zionism’s Endless Crime: Torture of Palestinian Prisoners Before Release
Association for Defending Victims of Terrorism- After the completion of the fourth phase of the prisoner exchange between the Zionist regime and the Palestinian resistance, media sources reported that some Palestinian prisoners were injured due to torture before their release.

According to IRNA, citing Al-Mayadeen Network, Palestinian sources announced that some of the released prisoners were tortured by prison guards for several days before their release.
According to this report, some of the released prisoners suffered broken ribs as a result of severe beatings by prison guards.
In this regard, the Palestinian Prisoners Club announced: The occupying regime is practicing organized terrorism against the released prisoners and prohibits their families from arranging any reception for them.
The governor of Ramallah and Al-Bireh also said in this regard: 10 of the released prisoners were transferred to hospitals due to difficult conditions.
The torture of Palestinian prisoners by the Zionist regime drew a reaction from the Hamas movement.
Hamas stressed in a statement on this matter: “A number of our prisoners left the fascist occupying prisons today for hospitals to receive treatment for persecution and torture.” The statement said: “The horrific and ongoing violations against our heroic prisoners in prisons are a war crime and a crime against humanity.” Hamas added: “The violations against prisoners require the immediate intervention of the United Nations and human rights and humanitarian organizations to stop these actions and hold the perpetrators accountable.” The fourth phase of the prisoner exchange between the Palestinian resistance in the Gaza Strip and the Zionist regime took place today, during which three Zionist prisoners were released in exchange for dozens of Palestinian prisoners. Finally, after much tension and internal disputes between the Zionists and the regime’s cabinet ministers, the ceasefire in the Gaza Strip entered its implementation phase on Sunday afternoon, January 20. In the first phase of the prisoner exchange, three female Zionist prisoners were released in exchange for a number of female and child Palestinian prisoners, and four phases of prisoner exchanges have been completed so far.
According to the agreements reached between the Palestinian resistance and the Zionist regime, the ceasefire agreement is to be implemented and completed in three phases.
