A gunman attacked a mosque in western Afghanistan, killing six people, Abdul Matin Qane, a spokesman for the Taliban’s interim government, said.
According to Qane, an unidentified gunman opened fire on civilian worshipers at the Imam Zaman Mosque in the Gozara area of Herat. “Six civilians were killed and one wounded,” he wrote on the social network X.
The terrorist group ISIS Khorasan claimed responsibility for an armed attack against worshipers in the city of Gozara in Herat province.
