Human Rights Watch Europe-Mediterranean Center: Expulsion of Palestinians from West Bank camps is a war crime
Association for Defending Victims of Terrorism- Human Rights Watch Europe-Mediterranean Center emphasized in a statement that the expulsion of thousands of Palestinians from West Bank refugee camps by the Zionist regime is a war crime and genocide.
According to IRNA from Al Jazeera, the statement states: The aggressive approach in the West Bank is not limited to the killing and expulsion of Palestinians, but also includes the destruction, explosion and burning of residential houses and infrastructure in these areas.
The statement adds: We warn that Israel’s impunity (regime) in the past decades has encouraged them to expand their aggressions and there is a risk of committing the crimes of the Gaza Strip in the West Bank.
The statement continued: We call on the international community to take immediate action to stop the Israeli military operations in the West Bank and to protect Palestinian civilians.
According to IRNA, the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA) previously announced in a statement that the Israeli military operations have led to the evacuation of many refugee camps in the West Bank.
The statement added: As a result of the occupation regime’s attacks, thousands of Palestinians in the West Bank have been displaced and homeless.
Jonathan Fowler, spokesman for the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA), had also previously announced: About 2,450 to 3,000 families have left the Tulkarm refugee camp.
