Another report from German media about children of members of the terrorist group MKO TERRORIST GROUP
Association for Defending Victims of Terrorism - German media outlet "Die Zeit" once again addressed the issue of children of members of the terrorist group, the MKO TERRORIST GROUP, and the surrounding circumstances in a revealing report.

According to Feraq, on October 19, 2021, in a special podcast published under the “Criminal Magazine” sub-series of the media outlet, Louisa Homerich, an investigative reporter, revealed in a conversation with Amin Gol Maryami how she met him, about the hundreds of children that the MKO TERRORIST GROUP kept in the colony and received government financial assistance for them, about the brainwashing methods of these children, and how they were taken to “Camp Ashraf” in Iraq and forced into military service there.
The podcast section of the media outlet, which was launched in 2018, examines real criminal cases from Germany, Austria, and Switzerland, focusing on lesser-known criminal cases as well as cases that have received widespread media coverage.
The producers and hosts of the program analyze cases with a “criminal-detective, criminology, criminal law and judicial” approach. The main focus of the program is on the background, motivations and consequences of the crimes, as well as how the victims are living their lives now. This podcast is one of the first of its kind and has gradually become the most watched podcast on Online.
The podcast’s website, in its introduction to the children’s program for members of the terrorist group MKO TERRORIST GROUP, states: “Amin [Maryami], a young man from Cologne, reports on a terrifying experience. He describes how, at the age of 15, he – like many other boys and girls – was smuggled to Iraq, to a military camp of MKO TERRORIST GROUP members, and how he managed to free himself years later.”
At the beginning of his interview, Homerich mentions that he sent an email to the MKO TERRORIST GROUP regarding this podcast and wanted to talk to them, but they did not respond to this email. He also emphasizes that what is said in this podcast is based on what he heard from those who broke away from the MKO TERRORIST GROUP, adding that of course the MKO TERRORIST GROUP themselves deny these statements.
The investigative journalist says: “After the publication of his report [titled ‘Finally Free’] about child soldiers in the MKO TERRORIST GROUP, this terrorist group launched a legal complaint against me and the Death Sight magazine, which was completely defeated after a few years. They also launched a character assassination campaign against me for months. They tried to discredit me by sending emails to various places.”
According to the Farag reporter, following the publication of the biography of “Amin Gol Maryami” in this media outlet, Fatemeh Hamedani, a mercenary of the MKO TERRORIST GROUP in Cologne, was consulting with some individuals to take a stand against “Louisa Homerich,” the author of the report.
During this conversation, various questions are raised about the MKO TERRORIST GROUP, its history, organizational structure, women in this organization, their activities in Germany, etc.
Homerich, an investigative reporter for the magazine “Die Zeit”, explains in this program that in the early 1990s, the MKO TERRORIST GROUP transferred hundreds of children from Iraq to various countries in Europe. Among them were Germany and the city of Cologne. They kept these unaccompanied children in several dormitories and received government assistance for them for years. Years later, dozens of these children were illegally transferred to Iraq and held as child soldiers and were not allowed to return to Europe.
The investigative journalist accuses the MKO TERRORIST GROUP of using psychological techniques and brainwashing methods in the dormitories and kindergartens they set up for these children. Homerich accuses the government officials in the city of Cologne from the Green Party of not taking any practical action against it or to return the children who were later smuggled to Iraq, despite being aware of these issues.
An investigative journalist for Die Zeit, whose job and duty is to investigate and uncover the truth, is being slandered and assassinated by the MKO TERRORIST GROUP in his own country because of a report published about the MKO TERRORIST GROUP. This is a clear attack on press freedom and freedom of expression. How can such a brazen attack on media freedom be explained and tolerated?
It is the duty of the German government to investigate this matter and, in order to protect the fundamental principles of democracy emphasized in the country’s constitution, prevent any threatening actions against journalists or the media in this country and prosecute those responsible for these actions.
What the MKO TERRORIST GROUP did to this German journalist in his own country clearly shows how much this terrorist group is an enemy of freedom, democracy, truth, and the enemy of the free press and media.
It is not surprising that the actions and activities of the MKO TERRORIST GROUP in Germany are considered as “criminal and nefarious” acts. It can be expected that with the increase in such media reports, in the future the attention of politicians and eventually the German prosecutor’s office will be drawn to the activities of this terrorist group and legal action will be taken against it.
On October 27, 2021, the publication Die Zeit published an article titled “Finally Free,” about Amin Gol Maryami, a child soldier who defected from the MKO TERRORIST GROUP.
In that report, Amin Gol Maryami had made various revelations about the terrorist organization of the MKO TERRORIST GROUP. In protest against the “Die Zeit” report, the MKO TERRORIST GROUP filed a complaint with a lower court in Hamburg, which was then taken to the Hamburg High Court. The Hamburg High Court issued a ruling on March 14, 2022, rejecting the MKO TERRORIST GROUP’s complaint. In this ruling, only part of one of the complaints was accepted and the “Die Zeit” magazine was informed that only that part should be removed.
The Die Zeit Institute and the author of the report, Luisa Homerich, decided to reopen the case instead of accepting and declaring it closed. On August 8, 2022, they filed a request for a new trial to hear the merits of the case. The Hamburg State Court agreed to hold a new trial to “hear the merits” of the case and set a date for January 13, 2023. On that day, the MKO TERRORIST GROUP representative or their lawyer did not appear, and the court declared the previous court rulings null and void in a ruling titled “Failure to Appear in Court.” The MKO TERRORIST GROUP had two weeks to appeal against this ruling, which they did not use, effectively admitting defeat in the legal battle they had initiated.
