According to Tabnak, quoted by Mehr; Maryam Rajavi, the leader of the terrorist group of the MEK, recently made accusations and slandered Iran in a video conference in the Australian Parliament; while this group has a history of terrorizing and killing innocent Iranians, military and intelligence cooperation with Saddam in the imposed war, and terrorist and violent acts against our country.
With such a track record, the obvious question is why would the Australian Parliament give its platform to the leader of a terrorist group and buy political credibility for his false claims? How can a group with this history, which continues to emphasize armed activities in its media, be introduced as “democratic” in Western circles?
This Australian action effectively helps to purge and politically legitimize the MKO TERRORISTS. It is expected that the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, while condemning this action, will hold the Australian government accountable, as silence in the face of such behavior paves the way for the distortion of history and the purging of terrorism.
This behavior of so-called Western countries demonstrates the existence of double standards in dealing with terrorism.
