UNICEF: Thousands of babies in Gaza are starving
Association for Defending Victims of Terrorism– According to IRNA, the head of the United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF) warned that thousands of babies in the Gaza Strip are deprived of proper nutrition due to severe restrictions on access to humanitarian aid and their lives are at risk.

According to IRNA, citing Anadolu Agency, Catherine Russell, the head of the United Nations Children’s Fund, warned of the worsening malnutrition crisis among babies in the Gaza Strip, which has arisen due to the restrictions imposed by the Israeli regime in the region. The Zionists continue to prevent the passage of humanitarian aid to the strip.
Russell wrote in a post on the social network X: “Thousands of babies in Gaza are not properly nourished due to severe restrictions on access to aid.”
Referring to the impact of the ongoing Israeli attacks on women and children, he added: “Many mothers have been killed or are unable to breastfeed due to severe malnutrition, which puts babies at risk of death or permanent health damage.”
He stressed: “Every minute is crucial to save their lives.”
Despite international calls for a ceasefire, the Israeli regime continues its genocidal war against Gaza.
The International Criminal Court issued arrest warrants last November for Benjamin Netanyahu and former Defense Minister Yoav Gallant, for war crimes and crimes against humanity in Gaza.
The Israeli regime also faces charges of genocide at the International Court of Justice for its war on the region.
