Statement by 25 countries: The war on Gaza must stop now

Association for Defending Victims of Terrorism - A statement by 25 countries, including the UK, France, Italy, Japan, Australia, Canada, Denmark and New Zealand, has emphasized that the war against the people of Gaza must stop immediately.

 

According to Mehr News Agency, citing Al Jazeera News Agency, 25 countries, including the UK, France, Italy, Japan, Australia, Canada, Denmark and New Zealand, issued a statement , calling for an immediate end to the war in Gaza and an end to the crimes of the occupiers of Jerusalem against the oppressed Palestinian people.

The statement issued states: The war in Gaza must end now. The suffering of civilians in Gaza has reached unprecedented levels. The killing of more than 800 Palestinians who were seeking aid is horrific. Israel’s refusal to deliver essential aid to civilians is unacceptable. Israel must fulfill its obligations under international law. We call on Israel to immediately lift restrictions on the delivery and delivery of aid. We call on Israel to allow the United Nations and other organizations to carry out their work in providing assistance.

 

The 25 countries issuing the statement added: The proposal to transfer Palestinians to a humanitarian zone is completely unacceptable. Forced transfer is a violation of international humanitarian law. We oppose any move towards geographic or demographic change. The E1 settlement plan, if implemented, will dismember the State of Palestine. The E1 settlement plan is a clear violation of international law. We express our support for efforts to achieve a ceasefire. We stand ready to take further steps to support an immediate ceasefire.
