Association for Defending Victims of Terrorism took part in the international conference on “Peace and conflict resolution” and discussed with global peace activists in Asia, Europe and America continent and stressed on the empowering the voice of victims of terrorism as an effective tool in spreading sustainable peace around the world.
In closing ceremony of the conference, Mrs Mansoureh Karami, Chairwoman of the directors board of the Association for Defending Victims of Terrorism, explained the activities of the Association and read the “Victims of Terror are the peace messengers” statement.
The statement says: “Terrorism is the big threat and challenge to the global peace in todays and this devastating phenomenon is a tool for imperialists and put the peace of human society in danger of perpetual brutality and makes real peace inaccessible. The international essays in confronting this global challenge have been futile and it seems that we are not cable of peace building.”
The statement continues that: “victims of terrorism are the most genuine voice and the highest price in tribute of human morality and dignity, and they have tributed the human values by sacrificing their souls, security and health and by accepting the very harsh things.”
Stressed on the importance of the attention to the reality of the organization of the terrorism as the basic in creating the sustainable peace, the statement continues :”the message of the victims is the invitation to abstaining from violence and creating the sustainable peace. This invitation tries to weaken the bases of violence and extremism in the human society by enhancing the public awareness about the consequences of the organization of terrorism.”
After that, HojjatoAllah Aioubi and Mohammad Kazem Sajjadpour, professors of the Tehran University and the speakers of the closing ceremony, said that Iran is always the victim of violence, war and terrorism. They appreciated the efforts of the Association for Defending Victims of Terrorism in informing about those matters.

Victims of Terror are the peace messengers
The idea of the peace has been a concern for many scholars and politicians from the very long ago which led to creation of a global structure by the name of United Nations in the contemporary world for problem solving and conflict resolution with dialogue and based on international law.
Nowadays, centuries after that thought and nuances in the ideal of peace, humanity has the same concerns from the beginning and is confused and the human rights are under perpetual and brutal attacks from the global evil from Africa to Europe and Asia and especially in Yemen, Iraq, Syria, Palestine, Afghanistan and Pakistan. In this situation, the word of peace seems to be an arbitrary thing not a real or accessible thing in human society.
Terrorism is the big threat and challenge to the global peace in todays and this devastating phenomenon is a tool for imperialists and put the peace of human society in danger of perpetual brutality and makes real peace inaccessible. The international essays in confronting this global challenge have been futile and it seems that we are not cable of peace building.
Democracy, development and justice are prerequisites in creating sustainable peace around the world and they are parts of governing the rationality and are complementary in the process. They can bring the collective decision instead of despotism and discrimination for human society. In this utopia, there will be nothing for disturbing the others and human values and dignity are appreciated.
