Statement of ADVT on Terrorist Actions in Syria and Nigeria
Terrorist incidents of the past days which led to the killing and wounding of some innocent people and hence saddened lots of people around the world due to it severity and the huge number of victims, echoed again the need to seriously confront against extremism and violence.
Such atrocities will increase the world communities’ hate against “extremism and violence project with the tool of terrorism and by its supporters”.
The abhorrence against terrorism and its supporters must become a top “dialogue” on the basis of a solution to the peace among religions, international organizations and governments.
The latest terrorist action carried out in some countries like Turkey, Lebanon, Iraq, Syria, Nigeria, Pakistan, Egypt ,Afghanistan and Yemen by terrorist groups vibrating extremism and violence, like Da’esh, Book Haram,Taliban, Al’Nosra, Ahrar-Al’sham, Al’Ghaida and some other cultic terrorist groups parallel to their orientations is reflecting “regain of terror”.
Hence, what is self-evident is that all the terrorist groups’ ideology in this path is based on ignorance and bias and, their deeds on interpretation in their own interest. Destruction of civilization belonging to a population, exile of tribes, slavery of women and children, massacre, resonance of universal terror and violence and consequently depriving the glob of human’s peace and welfare as well as the international public aspect to the life is the common and organized path taken by all terrorist groups labeling as apparent example of violation of international conventions singed by world communities including its supporters. With regard to such continued terrorist operations, general assembly and security council is required, according to the article one of united nation’s charter which indicates the responsibility of establishing the international peace and security and stopping the violation of international law, to adopt some serious measures in order to both confront and prevent terrorist actions and ,according to it applicatinal and operational objectives, to in particular put “terrorism trial” on its agenda.
Association for defending victims of terrorism, as a non- governmental organization and dynamic in human rights afairs alongside with other human rights centers and human rights prominent figures, expects that international human rights defenders, in the actual application of humanitarian law and human rights, aimed at the support of victims of terrorism based on reflection of the aftermath of terrorism atrocity in world’s public opinion provide the ground to eliminate this heinous phenomenon.
ADVT, condemning these terrorist actions and expressing its condolences to the families of victims, strongly urges international communities, international organizations and peace keepers like security council to make a rebuts and immediate reaction in order to terminate such tragedies intended to application of international law sanction.
