Association for Defending Victims of Terrorism published a statement about terrorist attack in Pakistan and France.

In recent days, more than 140 innocent people have been killed and injured in two terrorist attacks on a mosque in Peshawar, Pakistan, and a church in Nice, France.
Such catastrophes and other terrorist attacks on holy places prove once again that there is no connection between religions and terrorism, but it indicates that religions themselves are among the terrorist targets.
We believe that terrorism has gone beyond an ideological extremism or a misinterpretation and now it has become an organization for imposing the will of superpowers and destruction of the infrastructures of developing countries and any link and any effort to relate these two categories will help policymakers behind terrorism in guiding and supporting this destructive phenomenon in the world under any title.
The Association for Defending Victims of Terrorism (ADVT) condemn these attacks and express sympathy with the families of the victims and wish an immediate recovery to the injured of these attacks and call on all elites, personalities, thinkers and leaders of divine religions around the world to uncover the abuse of divine religions caused by terrorism and take position against terrorism like the statements of Pope Francis, the Grand Mufti of Egypt, and the former United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights so that they can shed light on the contradiction between religions and terrorism.
