ADVT Participation in the 28th Session of Human Right Council (7 to 18 March)

Geneva7 – 18 March 2015 – Association for Defending Victims of Terrorism (ADVT) is a non-governmental and cultural institution. Its members are all victims of – or have lost their loved ones in terrorist acts. The 28th session of Human Rights Council was held in March 2015 in Geneva, Switzerland. It discussed about the situation of human rights in the world, and a delegation of ADVT participated in this session. Representatives of ADVT strongly criticized the terrorist heinous acts which are the most important human rights violations existing in every part of the world and announced their abhorrence on these acts. ADVT’s members expressed the hope for improvement of the situation of human rights all over the world. Moreover, ADVT members held a panel on issue of “Human Aspects of Terrorism” and participated in various meetings and interviews to discuss terrorism and other related issues. They met and spoke with high ranking human rights advocates in the 28th session of Human Rights Council.
