Once again, the terrorist organization killed dozens of innocent civilians in Istanbul with a terrible crime and saddened many families. Last evening, a huge explosion shocked Istanbul, Turkey. This explosion in Istiklal Avenue left about 90 dead and wounded. According to the released information, the terrorist perpetrator is a member of the PKK terrorist group.
Killing defenseless people does not have any political and military value and honor, but it shows the weakness, senselessness and impasse of brutal terrorists and their supporters in the strategy of terrorism to plunder the interests of countries. Terrorism is a serious threat to global peace and security. We must have a collective solution to counter it, so that the world does not experience such terrible incidents again. The United Nations should adopt an effective solution to counter this heinous phenomenon practically in cooperation with civil societies, human rights activists, academics and elites, figures and leaders of divine religions.
The Association for Defending Victims of Terrorism, while condemning this crime and expressing sympathy with the affected people and wishing recovery to the injured, declares that terrorism as a damaging strategy by the West to plunder the interests of the countries in our region has reached the end of the road with all the advanced equipment and modern facilities and it can no longer have any benefits for hegemonic powers.
