A Tunisian organization is moving to sue Israel for war crimes in Gaza

Association for Defending Victims of Terrorism – The Tunisian League for the Defense of Human Rights announced the filing of a lawsuit against Israeli officials in the War Council before the International Criminal Court for crimes committed by the occupation army in the Gaza Strip.

This coincided with the trial of Israel before the International Court of Justice for committing genocide crimes in the Gaza Strip, a lawsuit filed by the state of South Africa.

The Tunisian organization accused Israeli officials of committing crimes against humanity during the war on Gaza, which has been ongoing since October 7th.

For his part, the president of the association, Bassam Al-Tarifi, said that the lawsuit was based on what the occupation forces committed during their storming of Al-Shifa Hospital in the Gaza Strip on the 15th, 16th and 17th of last November.

Al-Tarifi called on the political authority in Tunisia (led by Kais Saied) to adopt this call, and he also called on the Tunisian judiciary to hear the plaintiffs of the lawsuit as soon as possible.
