Vronkov: ISIS Khorasan, the biggest terrorist threat to Europe

Association for Defending Victims of Terrorism - the United Nations Vice-President for Combating Terrorism stated at the Security Council meeting that Europe is facing a more serious threat than ISIS in Khorasan.

 

Referring to the arrest of several people for planning a terrorist act in a music concert in Vienna, Austria, Vladimir Voronkov stated that Europe is facing a serious danger from ISIS in Khorasan.

The United Nations counter-terrorism deputy further said that this group is the biggest foreign terrorist threat against the European continent and has increased its efforts to recruit members and organize its finances and logistics.

John Cohen, the former security operative deputy of the US Department of Homeland Security, added that we are currently facing the most complex and dangerous security threat in the United States during our forty years of service in the internal security department.

In recent days, three people have been arrested on charges of planning to carry out terrorist attacks at a concert in Vienna, Austria. Austrian authorities announced that the men were radicalized online and that chemicals and technical tools were also found in the home of a 19-year-old suspect.

America’s cooperation with ISIS in the war against the Syrian people and creating chaos and massacre in the Middle East is clear to everyone. Even now, this cooperation has continued and news like this has the aspect of magnifying and creating a field of operations for this terrorist group in Europe.
