Association for Defending Victims of Terrorism - After a court in Brazil ordered the country's police to investigate an Israeli soldier who had traveled to the country on charges of war crimes in the Gaza war, he chose to flee.

According to the Palestine Information Center, a court in Brazil ordered the country’s police to investigate an Israeli soldier who had traveled to the country on charges of committing war crimes in Gaza. However, the soldier fled Brazil as soon as he learned of this matter last night.

The news indicates that the Zionist soldier is returning to “Israel”. This decision was made after a complaint by an anti-Israel organization in Brussels that seeks to prosecute Israeli soldiers globally.

The Israeli soldier, who had recently completed his service and had gone to Brazil for vacation, was to be investigated according to the court’s order. But he fled Brazil.

The incident has caused concern in “Israel”. Yuli Edelstein, the head of the Knesset Foreign Affairs and Security Committee, has called on the cabinet to take measures to protect its military personnel from prosecution. Opposition leader Yair Lapid has also accused the cabinet of failing on the global stage and called for the formation of an investigative committee to prevent such incidents.
