َAssociation for Defending Victims of Terrorism have issued a statement about the terrorist attack on Kaaj Educational Center in Afghanistan. The statement is as follows:
Once again, blind terrorists killed dozens of innocent students in Afghanistan with a heinous crime.
A series of brutal attacks by terrorist groups in the recent months and years on temples, churches, mosques, schools and universities in Afghanistan indicates that educational and religious centers are one of the main targets of the terrorists. With such attacks ignorance and division as effective components in the continuation of domination will spread as much as possible.
The rule of the Taliban and the recurrence of such tragedies have created a very miserable situation for the oppressed people during four decades of conflict, which requires the international community’s attention, centered on the United Nations, to take effective measures to create security and protect the lives of millions innocent people.
The Association for Defending Victims of Terrorism, while condemning this heinous act and similar terrorist attacks, as well as expressing sympathy with the families of the victims and wishing swift recovery to the injured in this incident, call on UN officials, human rights activists, academics, figures, thinkers and religious leaders around the world to take appropriate effects to defeat the terrorists’ strategy in countering promoting public awareness and increasing social unity.
