Association for Defending Victims of Terrorism – The governor of Kirkuk, Rakan Saeed al-Jubouri, confirmed the distribution of compensation to 100 victims of terrorist operations.
Al-Jubouri said in a statement to the Iraqi News Agency (INA): “As part of the efforts of the process of compensating the victims of terrorism and military operations, 100 compensation will be distributed to those covered by it, at a value of up to 300 million dinars,” pointing out, “There is a new meal that will include 100 names that will be returned to the governorate to be compensate it.”
He added, “The Kirkuk governorate distributed nearly 1,200 compensations to victims of terrorism and military operations during the past year, and the value of those compensations reached 20 billion dinars,” noting that “the compensations included those whose homes, shops, and vehicles were damaged as a result of terrorist and military operations and bombings that the province witnessed before 2017.” .
He pointed out, “The compensation file enjoys great support and efforts to resolve it through the Supreme Committee for Victims of Terrorism and Military Operations, and by securing financial liquidity within the Food Security Law or what will be allocated within the 2023 budget.”
