
According to Mehr News Agency , the courtroom drama play “Terror,” which was performed in Tehran and six other cities last year and received attention for its artistic and legal themes, became a subject of academic discussion and review at the 15th International Crime and Punishment Festival in Istanbul.
Ali Mohammad Hessamfar, the producer and actor who plays the judge in the play, spoke at the academic section of the festival held at Bilgi University in Istanbul on Friday, December 27. At the event, which was held at the university’s Energy Museum, he introduced an article he had written with the participation of the play’s director, Ebrahim Amini, and presented material about legal plays and the impact of theater on the development of human rights.
The play “Terror,” directed by Ebrahim Amini and produced by Ali Mohammad Hessamfar, with the presence of figures such as Mehdi Pakdel, Saed Soheili, Vahid Rahbani, Elham Nami, and Ali Bagheri, was one of the most watched plays on stage in 2024.
