Pakistan: We targeted 7 terrorist camps on the Afghan border

Association for Defending Victims of Terrorism - Following a series of recent suicide attacks in Pakistan, the country announced that seven locations on the border with Afghanistan that were identified as "terrorist camps" were targeted.

The Pakistani Ministry of Intelligence, in a statement on the social media platform of the American company “X”, announced: “Following the recent suicide attacks in the country, Pakistan has targeted 7 points on the border with Afghanistan, which have been identified as “terrorist camps.”

The statement said that there is direct evidence that the recent bombing attacks in Pakistan were carried out by the Pakistani Taliban (TTP) group, and in response to these attacks, Pakistani forces have targeted these 7 terrorist camps on the border with Afghanistan.

Local sources also informed “Toloo News” that Pakistani warplanes have carried out attacks on the Barmal region in Paktika Province, Afghanistan.

It is worth noting that armed attacks in Pakistan are more concentrated, especially in the provinces of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Balochistan, which border Afghanistan.

In these states, armed groups claiming to defend the rights of the Pashtun and Baloch ethnic groups attack Pakistani security forces and civilians.

Islamabad claims that the Pakistani Taliban (TTP) is based in Afghanistan and is organizing its attacks from there, while the Afghan government denies this claim.

In Balochistan province, attacks by the Balochistan Liberation Army (BLA) are also prominent. The group calls for Balochistan to separate from Pakistan and for the region to be governed by the Baloch people
