On the eve of the anniversary of the martyrdom of the respected scientist Dr. Majid Shahriari, international terrorism, in a ruthless crime, assassinated another educated person who was one of the brilliant people of human thought. Thus, Dr. Mohsen Fakhrizadeh, another shining star of the bright sky of knowledge and research, disappeared.
Such crimes and other similar cases in the national and regional arenas prove that terrorism has changed in nature many years ago. It changed from a misinterpretation and ideological extremism to a thought which plays a role in imposing the willpower of the hegemonic system on independent countries.
This heinous phenomenon has posed a constant threat to our region with the same origin and has caused terrible damages to several countries such as Afghanistan, Pakistan, Iraq, Yemen, Lebanon, Syria and Palestine, which will not be compensated after decades of effort.
Terrorism, in any form and with any purpose, is condemned. It has no result except undermining the great human achievement in the development of international law and the United Nations, and it would be a return to the law of jungle, which leads the world to insecurity, violence, confrontation, and endless wars.
Condemning the crime and sympathizing with the survivors and commemorating Martyr Shahriari on the anniversary of his martyrdom, the Association for Defending Victims of Terrorism call on all scientific communities, scientists and scholars and human rights defenders in the world, especially the states of the region to condemn terrorism in any form and method and also weaken the heart of evil by revealing the nature of instrumental terrorism strengthen peace and security in the world.
