Statement of ADVT in Human Rights Day

STATMENT

All human beings are born free and equal in dignity and rights

Human Rights Day is observed every year on 10 December. It commemorates the day on which, in 1948, the United Nations General Assembly adopted the Universal Declaration of Human Rights. The Universal Declaration of Human Rights promises to protect freedom and prevent future atrocities. The power of the Universal Declaration is the power of ideas to change the world. Ideas which are the inalienable entitlements of all people, at all times and everywhere. They are the rights of people of every color, from every race and ethnic group no matter their sex, their class, their caste, their creed and their age.The vigilant, unwavering advancement of those rights will make the world safer and more prosperous for us all.

In the world today terrorism in all forms and manifestations constitutes one of the most extensive threats to international peace and security in the way that any acts of terrorism are criminal and unjustifiable regardless of their motivations, whenever and by whosoever committed.

The issue of terrorism has by some international organizations been so ignored that the secretary of UN named the terrorism as the most serious threat of the world today and a mutual pain to all human beings. The heinous acts of terrorists like Da esh, Alnusra, Boko Haram, Al Qaeda , Talban , Joond Allah and Mojahdin GKalq have caused enormous loss of human lives, destruction and damage to the wealth and welfare, particularly those which prompted by Da’esh also known as ISIL(the Islamic State in Iraq and the Levant). Its violent extremist ideology, its terrorist acts, its continued gross systematic and widespread attacks directed against civilians, abuses of human rights and violations of international humanitarian law, including those driven on religious or ethnic ground, its eradication of cultural heritage , trafficking of women and children for sexual orientation and cultural property, also its control over significant parts and natural resources belonging to the all world communities and its recruitment and training of foreign terrorist fighters whose threat affects all regions, even those far from conflict zones constitutes a global threat to the region as well as the World.

Government’s response to such atrocities is disappointing, marking by lack of transparency and accountability, blatant malevolence and a disregard for human life amounting to homelessness and emigration of innocent people in every race, color and religion who are themselves regarded as the ignored portion of victims of terrorism.

International human rights advocates remained tenacious, inciting massive protests and public condemnation in an effort to demand an end to the Racism,Women’s Rights,Rights of the Child,Abortion, Ethnic Cleansing, environment and Terrorism.

The Assosiation for Defending Victims of Terrorism stands with the thousands of victims of terrorism in all classesaround the world whose voices are denied. Let us commit to upholding and promoting the dignity and sanctity of terror victims every day in our homes, schools, and communities.

We take this occasion to commemorate Human Rights Day in order to express to continue advocating against injustice and safeguarding human rights towards terrorism victims.
