Statement of the Association for Defending Victims of Terrorism in condemnation of the terrorist attacks in Pakistan and Afghanistan

Association for Defending Victims of Terrorism condemned terrorist attacks on mosques in Pakistan and Afghanistan. The statement is as follows:

Once again, the terrorist organization has killed more than 300 innocent people with brutal acts in Pakistan and Afghanistan. Such crimes, in continuation of other similar brutal acts in attacking religious centers and followers of religions, mosques and worshipers, once again show that religions are one of the key targets of blind terrorism in the contemporary world, which is led by anti-religious people and they use this heinous phenomenon a destructive tool regardless of identity and nationality.

The killing of defenseless people who are praying and worshiping has no military-political value, but rather shows the desperation and helplessness of terrorist groups and their supporters.

We believe that the root of conflicts and crimes lies in arm-based economies, which, by producing regular insecurity and instability in many parts of the world, especially in the Asian region, seek to profit more from the sale of weapons and destructive bombs for many years. Thus, with a hellish strategy, it has associated the lives of millions of people with terror, fear and destruction.

The Association for Defending Victims of Terrorism, while condemning these brutal acts and expressing its sympathy with the families of the victims and wishing a quick recovery to the injured, calls on all human rights activists, cultural experts, scientific communities, regional and international organizations, especially the Secretary General and the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights to put an end to the long suffering of mankind through an effective and practical approach.
