Association for the Defeding Victims of Terrorism – A French lawyer announced that he had sent a letter on behalf of three Palestinian non-governmental organizations to the International Criminal Court regarding war crimes and crimes against humanity committed by the Israeli occupation army in its ongoing aggression against Gaza, which has so far led to the death of more than 10,500 martyrs.
The letter sent on Wednesday evening to the Prosecutor of the International Criminal Court stated that the facts presented by Al-Haq, Al-Mezan Center, and the Palestinian Center for Human Rights are “genocidal intent, incitement to genocide, crimes against humanity, and war crimes.”
Lawyer Emmanuel Daoud requested that arrest warrants be issued against “those most prominently responsible for these crimes, including Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and President Isaac Herzog.”
He said that the organizations want “Israeli officials who wage war with complete impunity, where war crimes and crimes against humanity are committed every day, to understand that they must personally bear responsibility for their actions before international justice.”
He added, “Since the international community is unable to impose a ceasefire on Israel, international criminal justice must assume its responsibilities, as it has the necessary means to do so.”
