15 civilians died in a terrorist attack in western Niger
Association for Defending Victims of Terrorism - According to Turkey's Anatolia news agency, Niger's army released a statement announcing that unidentified gunmen attacked civilians in Mahana area of Tilabari region on August 12, resulting in the death of 14 people.
Also, the day after the incident, another attack took place in the same area, in which one person lost his life.
It should be noted that the Tillaberi region is located on the common border line of Niger, Mali and Burkina Faso.
Terrorist groups affiliated with Al-Qaeda and ISIS frequently carry out attacks on this border line.
