ISIS terrorist arrested in Germany

Association for Defending Victims of Terrorism – German police announced that they had arrested a person on suspicion of attempting a terrorist act.

This 37-year-old Iraqi man was looking for a terrorist act in a market in the German city of Augsburg.

He took photos of the market to carry out his terrorist act and planned to attack it using a truck during the Christmas holidays.

His arrest was made because a regional security organization sent information to the German security agency. This ISIS terrorist also carried out activities in support of ISIS in cyberspace.

The arrested terrorist is awaiting deportation from Germany.

In 2016, the Berlin Christmas market was attacked with a truck. In 2018, ISIS terrorists also attacked the Strasbourg market.

The increasing publication of news about the ISIS terrorist group and the possibility of their terrorist act in Europe strengthens the suspicion of the revival of this terrorist group with the aim of disrupting security in the region. Now that Syria is embroiled in a civil war caused by terrorist groups, the resurgence of ISIS in Iraq could also jeopardize the security of that country. Such an incident would confirm that terrorism is instrumental in favor of the structure of the global hegemony system.
