SCO Anti-Terrorism Program Approved Until 2030

Association for Defending Victims of Terrorism - SCO, at its 43rd meeting of the Regional Anti-Terrorism Structure held in Tashkent, approved the organization's cooperation program for 2026-2030.

 

The meeting, which was attended by SCO Secretary General Nurlan Yermekbayev and representatives of the organization’s member states, discussed and reviewed various issues related to strengthening regional cooperation in combating terrorism and extremism.

The member states pledged to expand their cooperation in combating terrorist threats and extremism. The recent meeting has been assessed as another step in strengthening regional security and combating global threats of terrorism and extremism, and the member states emphasize the need to expand cooperation in this area.

Also, a joint anti-terrorism exercise among the organization’s member states will be held in Belarus.
