14 ISIS terrorists were killed in Iraq

Association for Defending Victims of Terrorism - Iraqi Joint Operations Command announced the death of 14 ISIS terrorists, including some of the leaders of this terrorist group.

 

According to Mehr news agency, citing Al-Mayadeen news site, the Iraqi Joint Operations Command announced the death of 14 terrorists, including a number of ISIS commanders, in security operations in the Anbar desert.

According to the statement of the Iraq Joint Operations Command Office, the said operation was carried out with detailed information and two-month field activities to identify the important leaders of the ISIS terrorist group in the desert areas of Anbar province, and detailed details of the presence of these terrorist elements in the said area have been collected.

According to this report, 14 ISIS elements were killed in this operation, some of them had explosive belts or hand grenades, and some of them were important ISIS commanders. The statement said that the names and more details of these terrorist elements will be announced later.

The terrorist groups of ISIS continue to carry out violent acts sporadically in the provinces of Iraq that were controlled by ISIS. The Iraqi army has announced that it is working to destroy these groups that carry out attacks from time to time.

At the same time, the Ministry of Defense of Iraq announced that 98 military operations against ISIS have been carried out between August 17 and 23 (August 27 to September 2).

The Joint Operations Command of the Iraqi Army announced the destruction of three ISIS nests in Salah al-Din province, north of Baghdad, and announced that ISIS was using these places to shelter its elements and carry out operations against Iraq’s national security.
