Joint Statement of the ADVT and Worker House of Iran on International Labor Day
Association for Defending Victims of Terrorism and Worker House of Iran published a statement in International Labor Day:
The Necessity of Freeing the Workers from the Clutches of the of the Hypocrites (MEK) Terrorist Cult
Workers are the most honorable people in the society who move the cycles of the world economy thanks to their efforts. These important people play the highest role in the development and progress of the world. However, throughout history, their rights have been violated in various ways and it continues.
The day 1 May 1886, is the memorial of the attack of American police on workers of Chicago textile factory. The tragedy marked International Labor Day in world history and is commemorated every year.
This day is an opportunity, in addition to honoring the status of the workers, to make collective efforts to solve workers’ problems and sympathize with their sufferings in order to improve their situation through this effort and sympathy.
Despite the existence of international institutions and instruments such as the International Labor Organization and the International Covenant on Economic and Social Rights and the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, we still witness the suffering of workers and violation of their rights, especially workers affected by the scourge of terrorism, especially those who have been deceived by abusing the title of placement and have been attracted to the terrorist group of Hypocrites.
In the late 1990s, this terrorist cult for the first time established a heresy against the working class to recruit them by abusing the label of employment and the issue of work, and transferred the workers to Iraq with fake employment companies in Turkey and other countries. In fact, they deceived the job seekers with the promise of working in Europe. The Hypocrites forced them to commit terrorist acts, so that after a few decades, the story continues and there is no hope for the release of these job seekers from the clutches of this terrorist cult. In addition, their families have endured the sufferings of being away from their loved ones for many years and are pursuing a way to save them.
Condemning this crime against the workers, the Association for Defending Victims of Terrorism and the Worker House of Iran call on the International Labor Organization, to cooperate with the Turkish labor community, as the place of the start of the crime, Iraqi labor community as the place of occurrence of crime and Albanian labor community as the place where the crime continues and set and implement an agenda for investigation, and collective release of these workers who have been imprisoned in the terrorist cult so that we can see them along with their families as soon as possible on the next year’s International Labor Day.
