The painting ” Minab’s lesson”, a narrative of oppression and art’s support for victims of terror

According to the Public Relations Department of the Association for Defending Victims of Terrorism, Hossein Aghaeipour, a Gilani artist, expressed solidarity with the oppressed children and victims of the brutal American-Zionist crime of Minab in an artistic action.

Hossein Aghaeipour, a Gilani artist and creator of special paintings of maps of cities around the world, as well as the creator of the painting “Sunset at Sunset” describing the martyrdom of Martyr Anis Nouri, announced his support for the oppression of the martyred children of the Shajare Tayyebeh School in Minab by appearing in the city and creating an artistic work.

In an interview about his goals for this action and the method of performing the artistic work, the Gilani artist said that the painting “Minab Lesson” was painted to defend the injustice of the martyred children at the Shajare Tayyiba School in Minab. He continued that the pain of the Minab School is greater than any description and becomes more painful when you touch the place where the children of the Shajare Tayyiba School in Minab were flying from.

In another part, the Gilani artist said, “During a trip to Minab, I firsthand felt the depth of the oppression of these children. From the school whose entrance door was hit in the first second of the attack and most of the children were trapped inside, to the staircase that collapsed and blocked the children’s path, and finally the second explosion in the middle of the school that destroyed half of the school along with the innocent children.”

Hossein Aghaeipour continued by stating some points about his painting, saying that the painting “Minab Lesson” was designed solely in memory of the children of Minab with the symbol of the map of Iran, and some of the stone fragments of the Minab school, which witnessed the American Tomahawk missile hitting the school, were used in the painting. These fragments were glued to the painted bloody tulips in Minab city as a symbol of the debris of the Minab school, and the blood of the martyred children flowed from under them, and like the blood in the veins, it flowed along the border lines of Iran throughout Iran, and it can be said that it has become a kind of defender of the country’s borders. The small fragments that were thrown around in the explosion were also symbolically placed in this painting in each province, to show that the extent of this explosion was understood in all provinces and a tulip grew there too. Also, a tree like the Shajra Tayyaba tree grew from the school’s location on the map and spread throughout the country. This tree symbolized the sound of pain from this disaster that echoed throughout Iran, then crossed borders and spread throughout the world, reaching the ears of people with an awakened conscience all over the world.

Painter Gilani concluded by saying that in the painting “Minab Lesson,” Iran became green and alive after this unity and empathy. This painting expressed the events that occurred after the explosion of the Tayyebeh Shajareh Minab School in an artistic language.

It should be noted that the painting ” Minab Lesson” will also be exhibited in international forums. This artistic initiative was carried out with the support of the Association for the Defense of Victims of Terrorism and the cooperation of the “I Am Your Advocate” campaign, and with the artistic pen of Hossein Aghaeipour in support of the 23,000 victims of terror in Iran, including children who were victims of terror, and especially the children who were victims of the Shajare Tayyebeh Minab School.
