This exhibition contains selected works from the painting festival called “Human Rights in the Shadow”, about the human rights violations of victims of terrorism in Iran and the world. Works depicting the suffering of the Jalizawi and Beit Salem families in the terrorist act of the MKO in the 1990s in Ahvaz, as well as the description of the sacrifice of Ms. Golrokh Mehri in the explosion of a gas station in Tehran, are among the works on display.
This festival was held to use the tools of art to convey the message of the injustice of victims of terrorism, and related works have also been exhibited in various exhibitions nationwide. This is the third time that these works have been exhibited nationally, and before that, they were also on display in the cities of Tehran and Rasht.
The works of the selected painters of this festival were on display to the public from April 12 to May 2, 2025 at the Zibakenar Modern Art Gallery in Gilan Province.
